Wallpapers of the Week: beautiful naturescapes by Solefield Posted: 07 Jul 2013 01:30 PM PDT Wallpapers are of great interest to our readership. We came to this conclusion after posting several wallpaper articles over the past few months, including the wildly popular Evasi0n walls I created for the jailbreak launch. You, the readers, have contacted us through various channels asking for a specific and reoccurring section of iDB that will feature wallpapers for all iOS devices. This post is a first in a weekly series, which is in direct response to those correspondences and, as the curator, I hope you enjoy this new feature. Being the first dedicated post, I will levy some expectations and concerns…(...) "Wallpapers of the Week: beautiful naturescapes by Solefield" is an article by iDownloadBlog.com. |
Instabot takes your Instagram experience to a new level Posted: 07 Jul 2013 12:00 PM PDT I am a big fan of Instagram. It is my favorite social networking site right now. I much prefer looking at photos of my friend's dinner plates than reading about how sick they got from eating it. Unfortunately, Instagram's user interface is uninspiring. I am always looking for a third-party app that lets me access my feed with a different theme. Instabot is a third-party app that, not only lets you view Instagram photos, but also lets you take, edit, and upload pictures to your feed. You can also keep track of who follows you and how often they interact with your posts…(...) "Instabot takes your Instagram experience to a new level" is an article by iDownloadBlog.com. |
AL13 iPhone case adds elemental style and protection Posted: 07 Jul 2013 10:00 AM PDT Aluminum is ubiquitous with Apple products, and to emphasize that association, case manufacturer “M” released a new iPhone bumper case simply named “AL13.” For the less science savvy folk, Aluminum, abbreviated “AL” is atomic number 13. Now, with a brief periodic table lesson out of the way, what makes this case special in relation to other similar cases? Most notably, the design is extremely lightweight: a mere 14 grams. A slick looking, lightweight, and stylish aluminum case is not always easy to find. The goal of M’s entrepreneurs Lester Mapp and Jeremy Foster was to create the perfect aluminum case but provide the final product at a price point well below competition. Inside I take a look at their newest creation and determine if their goal is met…(...) "AL13 iPhone case adds elemental style and protection" is an article by iDownloadBlog.com. |
Will the iPhone get its own Mac Pro moment? Posted: 07 Jul 2013 08:00 AM PDT There’s no argument that the Mac Pro was in need of some love and in fact, we’d argue that it’s been overdue some attention for quite some time now. We’d hoped that Apple would offer some signs that the Mac Pro was still in their hearts at this year’s WWDC, but we never invisaged something like what Phil Schiller finally announced on-stage. It was a wow moment the likes of which we don’t recall since the original iPhone introduction. Which got us thinking. With iPhones being released each year, and with leaks almost commonplace when it comes to Apple’s suppliers, are we in danger of growing bored with Apple’s iPhone? Perhaps more accurately, are we no longer capable of being surprised by a newly announced smartphone from Apple?(...) Extend your iPhoneography creativity with Color Moves in Photoshop Touch Posted: 07 Jul 2013 06:00 AM PDT Welcome back to iDB’s lessons in iPhone photography. If you remember the last lesson, I hinted that we could be taking a deeper dive into some post processing techniques. Specifically, that deeper dive will be looking at RGB color moves using Photoshop Touch. I’m sure you are asking, what is an RGB color move and why would you want to do it? All the color information your iPhone records is composed of Red, Green and Blue (RGB) data. The idea of a color move is to brighten or darken the various RGB values in your images to expand your creative post processing. Maybe you want to make an image more red or blue. Maybe you want to create your own Instagram-like filter that is uniquely yours. In this quick lesson, you will learn how to do just that…(...)
