Haypi Monster 1.4.1 Sweeps Players Away - Published on 07/03/13

Haypi Monster's latest update, Version 1.4.1, hit the App Store on July 1st and delivered fresh new PVE battle tactics along with a variety of tweaks that improve the general gameplay. The tweaks have been made on skills, Mystery Talents, PP and daily obtainable Boss Essence limits. Version 1.4.1 was released just 12 days after Version 1.4 - a major update that added two new scenes, a higher player level and monster level cap, and skill upgrades to the game.
Shanghai, China - Millions of players from around the world are rushing to download the latest update of the super popular iOS game, Haypi Monster. Haypi Monster sweeps players away into an alternate reality, where 165 delightful creatures roam the land and harness the powers of fire, water, and seven other elements. These creatures range from the cute and cuddly fire-type pony, Flicker, to the legendary water monster, Hydra. Players must battle and collect as many monsters as they can in order to become the best monster-catcher in the game and unveil the entire Monster Encyclopedia.
Haypi Monster's latest update, Version 1.4.1, hit the App Store on July 1st and delivered fresh new PVE battle tactics along with a variety of tweaks that improve the general gameplay.
Players who log in after the release of Version 1.4.1 have noticed the removal of all PP potions from the game. PP potions restore a monster's PP (also known as "power points") after they have been used in battle. Each skill has between 3 and 15 pp, and each monster can have up to four skills. Every time a skill is used, it loses 1 PP. Previously, monsters did not regain their PP until the end of a level, and each level took an average of 10 battles to complete. This meant that players needed to stock up on PP potions and carry them in their backpacks at all times. Now that PP potions have been rendered obsolete, players have more bag space and longer uninterrupted gameplay. Various tweaks have been made on skills and Mystery Talents of different monsters to improve the balance of monsters that share a class and rank.
Boss Raids, a multi-player feature in which several players can work together to defeat a boss, has received a few small changes. Players can receive Boss Essence by downing bosses with their friends, which can then be exchanged for gold chests, crystal chests, and the synthesis scroll of the powerful Gryphion. Some players have made multiple accounts in order to acquire as much Boss Essence as possible. A limit on daily obtainable Boss Essence has been set in Version 1.4.1: players can no longer receive more than 10 Boss Essence a day. However, they can still receive uncollected Boss Essence from previous days. Skills that gave raid bosses a debuff were not doing what they were supposed to and have now been nerved as a result.
With the release of Version 1.4.1 comes a new activity. For one week, all monsters gain 50% more EXP through training and PVE challenges. This activity is a treat to thank players for their dedication to the game and to help them explore the full magnitude of the 1.4.1 changes. Version 1.4.1 follows the release of Version 1.4, a major update that added two new scenes, a higher player level and monster level cap, and skill upgrades to the game. Forecasting of a genealogy:
The new Forecasting feature of LiveHistory computes predictions of all missing dates in the genealogy, and displays them in gray font. To achieve plausible results that are simultaneously consistent with the known facts - spanning multiple generations - in the database, the forecasting engine consults a built-in rule-bank containing consistency rules, and statistics about life-time, typical age at marriage etc.
Consistency Guidance:
In addition to forecasting missing dates, this version of the app also computes - for each unknown date - the earliest and latest dates that are possible without conflicting with known facts. When the user edits a forecasted unknown date, the date editor is aware of the consistency limits. Assigning a date outside the limits is flagged by LiveHistory to warn for an inconsistency by displaying the date in red.

Version 1.1 introduces a new forecasting engine, offering a heavy duty extension that computes and displays forecasts of unknown dates in the user's genealogy.
Eindhoven, the Netherlands - The AlgoCoil software company today is thrilled to announce their v1.1 release of LiveHistory, a genealogy app for the iPad, with features that extend its data model with biographical facts such as where people lived, and with whom. The app offers unique dynamic visualizations which let the user scroll through entire trees, switch roots, focus on persons or households, and even browse through time.
Forecasting of a genealogy:
The new Forecasting feature of LiveHistory computes predictions of all missing dates in the genealogy, and displays them in gray font. To achieve plausible results that are simultaneously consistent with the known facts - spanning multiple generations - in the database, the forecasting engine consults a built-in rule-bank containing consistency rules, and statistics about life-time, typical age at marriage etc.
Consistency Guidance:
In addition to forecasting missing dates, this version of the app also computes - for each unknown date - the earliest and latest dates that are possible without conflicting with known facts. When the user edits a forecasted unknown date, the date editor is aware of the consistency limits. Assigning a date outside the limits is flagged by LiveHistory to warn for an inconsistency by displaying the date in red.

Revealers taps into the users' imagination asking the player to quickly match the right caption with a photo as it is slowly revealed. The game allows users to add new photos and captions to the game, giving players multiple ways to be creative - both in playing the game and by adding new content to it.
Cupertino, California - Revealers, an addictively fun turn-based guessing game, officially launched today. Revealers taps into the users' imagination asking the player to quickly match the right caption with a photo as it is slowly revealed.
There have been a series of flash in the pan social games that have spread across the mobile app space but these have lacked stickiness and staying power because they failed to engage the user once their novelty wore off. Revealers is going to flip the mobile gaming space on its head by allowing users to add new photos and captions to the game. This twist gives players multiple ways to be creative - both in playing the game and by adding new content to it.
When users open the Revealers Game they can select to play against Facebook friends or a random opponent. They choose from the 12 categories, such as Food, TV, Animals, even Diseases, and can immediately begin to play. On each player's turn, a photo appears fully covered and as it quickly reveals itself to the player square by square, the challenge is to identify it from four possible answers faster than the player's opponent. The game provides real entertainment as Revealers brings a little snark, and a whole lot of humor with their content. If someone wants to play using their own photo and answer options? They can!
Imagine an iPhone owner is at a local Mexican restaurant and snaps a picture of a burrito. They can use this image to create their own challenge, adding a personal spin to each caption. Is this Mexican food, Chinese food, or Indian (remember, the photo isn't visible at first!)? Or maybe they prefer another angle, could this cause food poisoning, malaria, or pneumonia?
When players use a photo in games with friends, other Revealers players will see it appear in their games as well. Players can also like photos that others have submitted and are rewarded with bonus "brain cells" - the currency of the game - for submitting content. Of course, Revealers comes ready to play with tons of challenges already available.
The objective of the game is to earn the most brain cells and achieve a higher rank. Every time a player challenges an opponent they can win their brain cells by guessing the caption faster.
"Users are drawn to platforms where they can contribute and have a sense of ownership over the content." says Muly Litvak, founder of Revealers. "By bringing this experience to a social game, we give our players an engaging experience that will keep them coming back to play the game over and over again."

The game focuses on a players ability to recognize the highest value poker hands in a regular Texas holdem poker table. The hands start out easy with all community cards shown face up with two poker players hole cards also displayed face up. Selecting the highest hand at the table within the time limit increases your points and progresses through the levels.
There are three single player modes available Normal, Harder and Place your Bet. With more game modes to be released in coming updates. A player earns coins in these games that can be used to stake their multiplayer head to head games.
Multiplayer head to head games give the players a chance to test their poker skills against other players in a best of three rounds format. Players can select a stake level for the game with different winning and losing prize amounts which up the risk and rewards.
Leader boards for high scores allow a player to track their progress and rank. Tournaments are planned with prizes available for highest leader board rankings in the coming weeks. Prizes will include addition coins for in game use and also merchandise from the online store.

At the time, it was a very simple, and yet extremely functional little app that was perfect for keeping up with the scores to all of your disc golf games. Today, Baked Ham Games is proud to announce that that app has been completely rewritten from the ground up with an eye to making it as accessible and useful as possible.
With Disc Golf Scorekeeper 2.0, the app now does all of the things that were not possible before the rewrite. Taking three years of experience and knowledge with the many apps that it has released since then, BakedHamSoft has released its most technically-sound and useful app to date.
Here are just a few of the new features:
* Brand new, improved interface makes it easier than ever to use the app
* Create a running list of players, that can easily be added to any new game, each with a picture to go with them
* Select a course, and find the nearest ones using GPS
* Share your scorecards on Facebook, Twitter, or email
* Create a disc bag full of your discs to track which one is your best
* Merge the data for two similarly-named courses together in order to ensure information is as accurate as possible
* Play courses up to 27 holes
* Stats are now tracked globally so that when you enter data once (i.e. course pars or player names), they are automatically available from then on
Further features that can be added include:
* Track statistics for each player
* Track statistics for each disc, using GPS to get an accurate reading of the distance of your throw
* Ability to log an unlimited number of games
The app is available for free, and all existing users of Disc Golf Scorekeeper will be able to import all of their games and saved information from version 1 of the app by clicking on the "Export to version 2" button found in 1.2.4.1 of the original Disc Golf Scorekeeper.

Extremely simple to set up and operate, Alarm Clock's initial set up requires the user to enter the email address and password of the Gmail and/or Hotmail accounts they wish to monitor. The main Alarm Clock window is a large digital clock with a Start/Stop button and a tab bar at the bottom. Selecting the Alarm Setting button opens a window where users can set both the Alarm Time and the Read Range.
The Alarm Time consists of an Apple odometer/picker display, where the user can dial in the exact date and time the alarm should go off. When the alarm goes off, the female voice of the Google Text-To-Speech engine announces the number of emails it will read, and then it reads aloud the subject line and body of each message.
The Read Ranges consists of two Apple picker displays, where the user can dial in the exact message date and time at which the app should start reading and the message date and time where it should stop. For example, the user might set the From value to March 6 at 7:30 a.m., while setting the To value 24 hours later, March 7 at 7:30 a.m. Upon awakening, the app will announce the number of emails received in the past 24 hours and will read them all aloud.
"Check all your new emails when you wake up without turning on your computer," stated Nir Rodriguez of Descubriendo Apps. "Listen to your emails read aloud while you get ready for work, at breakfast, or in the car."
