SecureMac has released PrivacyScan 1.3, an update to its multiple award-winning software for Mac OS X. PrivacyScan securely wipes and cleans up online and offline tracks. The app offers a variety of choices for cleaning, from a standard quick delete to one of many other secure delete shredding options. PrivacyScan works like a digital document shredder, identifying and eliminating hidden threats that may compromise privacy when accessed by advertisers or snoopers trying to see where someone has been surfing.
