I have the same problem, if its Yahoo. I have been on the phone with Apple techs many times. The only thing that works, temporarily, is to delete the account and re-enter it. The Apple tech told me it is a Yahoo problem and to use Gmail instead. Fortunately mine is only a problem with my junk mail account, so I deleted it and read it in my iPad.

I had that problem with AOL... not so sure it's a Yahoo problem... :(
