Easy Calendar now also available for iPad - Published on 07/02/13

IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Easy Calendar finally brought their popular calendar app to iPad. The iPad edition remains true to its Phone roots: just two or three taps to enter or edit an event. The basis of Easy Calendar's ease of use lies in a smoothly swipeable week-at-a-glance view. This combined with the quick event editing and continuous-scrolling three-weeks landscape view is what people seem to like according to the 4.5 App Store ranking. Easy Calendar for iPhone was already downloaded more than 300,000 times.

Amsterdam, Netherlands - Easy Calendar finally brought their popular calendar app to iPad. The iPad edition remains true to its Phone roots: just two or three taps to enter or edit an event.

The basis of Easy Calendar's ease of use lies in a smoothly swipe-able week-at-a-glance view. This combined with the quick event editing is what people seem to like according to the 4.5 App Store ranking.

When rotated to landscape the single week becomes part of a continuous-scrolling three-weeks view. Compared to a typical month view this leaves enough space to show time and text of all events and it can be used to quickly scroll forward or backward in time. For longer term planning Easy Calendar contains a half-year calendar that doubles as a way to quickly jump to a specific week. This view also visualizes longer events like holidays.

Moving an event is done from within the weekly view, not using the frequently used date wheel. Different to most calendar apps this makes it possible for the user to actually see his events and just tap on the day the event has to be moved or copied to. With the iPad edition this even works from the landscape view.

Integrated in Easy Calendar is a shop to subscribe to one of the 3,000 different calendar subscriptions worldwide like (local) sports events, official, religious, and school holidays. The app syncs with iCloud, Outlook, Google Calendar and other CalDAV calendars. And it is multilingual in English, Spanish, German, French, and Dutch.

Device requirements
* Compatible with iPad
* Requires iOS 5.0 or later
* 9.4 MB

Pricing and Availability:
The release of Easy Calendar for iPad 2.5 is celebrated with a discounted price of $1.99 USD (normal price $2.99, or equivalent amount in other currencies) and available worldwide in the App Store's Utilities category.

Easy Calendar was developed by Tom van Zummeren, Jim van Zummeren and Jos Jong (Devista B.V.). Although there already were many calendar apps, the team concluded that most require too many taps for basic day-to-day tasks. Their cooperative design follows the 80/20 rule: simplicity at its core, but with an opportunity to access advanced features when required. This family business has been growing quickly since the introduction of Easy Calendar in March, 2011. Copyright (C) 2011-2013 Tom van Zummeren, Jim van Zummeren and Jos Jong. All Rights Reserved. Plush - The Puzzle Game Sure To Be A Sleeper Hit On iOS - Published on 07/03/13

IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Utah based independent developer, Red Head Games announces the availability of its first game, Plush, on iOS. Plush combines stuffed animal simulation with the imagination of a little girl to provide a unique puzzle experience. To successfully complete each level, the player must arrange the stuffed animals in such a way as to make them all "happy" before bedtime. Each stuffed animal has it's own preferences (and physics), so this is easier said than done.

West Jordan, Utah - Independent developer Red Head Games is pleased to announce the availability of its first game, Plush, on iOS.

Plush provides a cozy atmosphere and a soothing soundtrack while still providing interesting (and often quite challenging) puzzles to solve. Rather than assault the senses in a desperate attempt to keep the player's interest, Plush aims to act as a digital glass of warm milk, helping the player (whether an adult or child) wind down before their own bed time. Even the level timer is hidden by default, though quickly available for those who take their puzzle games seriously.

Features:
* 40 puzzle levels and 3 difficulty options
* Sandbox mode (Play Room)
* Unlockable Sound Board
* Colorblind Mode

Device Requirements:
* iPhone 3GS or later
* iPad (any)
* iPod touch (3rd generation or later)
* iOS 5.1 or later
* 61.3 MB

Pricing and Availability:
Plush 1.0.2 is $2.99 USD (or equivalent) and available worldwide on the App Store in the Games category.

Located in West Jordan, Utah, Red Head Games was founded in 2013 by Scott Hanks, who started his experience in the games industry during his teenage years as a beta tester for Sculptured Software (later acquired by Acclaim Entertainment). Seeing what it was like to actually work in the games industry dampened his enthusiasm to make games somewhat. The desire was further suppressed after spending some time in college learning C programming. After many years of dabbling in various disciplines (from writing to talk radio to plumbing), Scott returned to his computer nerd roots. While immersing himself in this brave new world of programming, Red Head Games was created in order to distribute "Plush", our first game. Copyright (C) 2013 Red Head Games LLC / All Rights Reserved.
