I've been experience difficulty with my Yahoo mail accounts lately and understand that they instituted some changes.
I have a Road Runner account with my Time Warner service and would like to maintain other accounts as well. Can anyone recommend what I could change to?
I know there is a mac mail program and a gmail program but with the latter there can be problems sending/receiving attachments.
Thanks!

You have an Apple account in icloud that you could use as your main one. The app is builtin to all Macs and iOS devices and I find it to work flawlessly.

I would be interested in going the Apple route in order to more easily keep email on my MBP and iDevices synchronized, but I haven't figured out how to do it without giving up my domain email addy
which I am unwilling to do.
Best,
Jim

I have Yahoo e mail and have used it for so long I would hate to give it up. Â It is on all my devices, Apple and PC.
It has been a bit flakey lately. Â They must be tinkering again but it will straighten out one of these days! Â :-)

I run Apple Mail with several accounts, including Yahoo, Gmail and personal domains for myself and my business. It all depends on how your host is set up for POP3 or IMAP (incoming) and SMTP (outgoing). Ask them. Or us. :)
Btw, free Yahoo mail accounts cannot be accessed externally like this. Only paid accounts enable this, which is one reason why I switched to Gmail long ago. However, some accounts do get this for free if they are attached to another service, like our AT&T U-verse email addresses are.
