Osaka, Japan - CAPCOM, a leading international developer and publisher of video games, today released an update that contains four new monsters and unveils for the first time the 'gunlance' sword for MONSTER HUNTER Dynamic Hunting on iPhone and iPod touch.
To commemorate this update, Capcom Mobile will be providing a special offer for MONSTER HUNTER fans by slashing the price from $6.99 to $0.99 from October 20th through October 24th.
The immensely Monster Hunter franchise has sold over 18 million units across all platforms, and transports the player to a beautifully crafted fantasy world where massive creature roam the land. In epic encounters against titanic beats, players battle claw against sword for glory and survival.
MONSTER HUNTER Dynamic Hunting features over 40 different swords that are unlockable when progressing through various battles. Friends can team up and share the hunt as well as the spoils of victories via Bluetooth. Additionally, Twitter integration and a replay function have been added in this update.
Players interact with the game using an intuitive control system. Eschewing the typical D-pad, players swing their weapon in MONSTER HUNTER Dynamic Hunting by tapping the target with one finger. Blocks can be performed by tapping the screen with two fingers while evading is accomplished by sliding two fingers left or right. Basic movement can be accomplished by sliding a single finger, left or right. The result is an effortless control scheme that takes full advantage of the device's touch screen.

The Evil Quiz iPhone app is filled with 100 levels of brainteasing questions and riddles that truly test the users IQ. Since its release, thousands of people have been downloading and playing the Evil Quiz daily.

The dozens of panels are designed to work together in endless combinations. The stories can be funny, action-packed, suspenseful, or totally wacky.
New York, New York - Great new features are now available for Comixer - The Comics Mixer, a comics-making iPad app for 7- to 13-year-olds (and everybody else!). To celebrate the new release, the app is on sale for $0.99 until November 1 in the iPad App Store. Created by three former editors of Nickelodeon Magazine, Comixer is a game, a puzzle, and a creative tool all in one. The new update, v1.3, makes it a great reading experience, too.
With Comixer, players "mix" cartoon panels to create their own stories, the way a deejay mixes tracks to make a new song. The dozens of panels are designed to work together in endless combinations. The stories can be funny, action-packed, suspenseful, or totally wacky.
Indie comics legend Johnny Ryan drew the panels, but how the story unfolds is completely up to the user - there are no right or wrong answers. For kids, Comixer encourages creativity and reinforces literacy skills.
Players build a library of their masterpieces, and with version 1.3, they can now read their comics in a digital comic book, too. They can also email their favorite stories or share them on Facebook.
Top app reviewer The iPhone Mom had this to say about Comixer: "I love it when I find an app that's both educational and appealing to my older children ... A simple and potentially hilarious exercise in creativity."
New York Times puzzle writer Robert Leighton, who wrote the comic panels, said, "I designed Comixer's panels so there are countless ways to combine them. I couldn't begin to predict all the stories you can make with them."

Comixer - The Comics Mixer is the brainchild of three former editors from Nickelodeon Magazine. When the magazine folded, freshly unemployed editors Chris Duffy, Laura Galen, and Carmen Morais committed to bringing their expertise in entertaining and educating kids to the iPad. Their love of humor, comics, and puzzles led them to the idea of creating a comics mixer, where kids can create their own stories.
Comics artist Johnny Ryan is the creator of Angry Youth Comix, among other titles, and a regular contributor to Vice Magazine. Robert Leighton creates puzzles for the New York Times, gags for the New Yorker, and illustrates children's books. Johnny and Robert were regular contributors to the groundbreaking Nickelodeon Magazine comics section. Comixer's design was done by the award-winning New York City studio Open. Prolific mobile developer and serial entrepreneur Basil Hafez completes the Comixer team.
