I have an older Canon Digital Rebel SLR EOS 300D. Really, hardly out of diapers, but my iMac doesn't think so. In fact, the chip for the Rebel won't fit into the iMac slot.
Is there anything I can do to get photos?
Thanks,
Carol

Digital camera are "out of diapers" by about 3-4 months. This model is 10 years old, and even (most) people are out of diapers by then.
And in 2003, Compact Flash cards were quite common in cameras.

Sure - get a card reader with multiple inputs.
Here's an Amazon page with a few: <http://www.amazon.
Here's one of them, specifically, because it's likely to read your card, and the price is right. <http://www.amazon.

Others have suggested a card reader, since no iMac has ever come with a CF card slot.
How about some free possibilites?
Have you tried the USB cable that comes with the camera?
Or the manual?
Or http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer/eos_slr_camera_systems/eos_digital_slr_cameras/eos_digital_rebel#BrochuresAndManuals

I bought a Transcend M3 a few years ago. Very compact, fast, reads
anything, inexpensive, and uses a detachable USB cable that also fits my
Ixus camera. This one looks like the current equivalent.
