It appears that any hope left of Apple unveiling a totally redesigned handset next week just floated out the window. As it has done several times, 9to5Mac just uncovered some juicy information hidden within Apple’s software.

Mashable posted an article yesterday that tells an interesting story about the relationship between Apple and Facebook. Although the two companies are expected to make a joint announcement next Tuesday, things haven’t always been peachy.

Adobe to Hold Special Event During Apple’s iPhone Keynote on Tuesday

Asymco has released a report that compares Apple’s and Microsoft’s financial earnings. Asymco’s Horace Dediu compares product revenue from both companies to determine who has better financial performance.

Microsoft has its mind-boggling array of Windows products, along with multiple enterprise solutions. And there’s of course Windows Phone 7. Apple has all of its ‘i’ hardware, software, percentage cuts from the iTunes store, Mac sales, and peripherals.

It’s been a long time coming, but one of my favorite OS X utilities has made its way to iOS. Indeed, f.lux just appeared on the iPhone, but not via the conventional App Store method.

f.lux is a handy utility that automatically adjusts the color temperature of your screen, resulting in significantly reduced eye-strain.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of f.lux, it pretty much has no chance of ever appearing on the official App Store. Thankfully, the team behind this excellent tweak has found refuge on Cydia…(...)
