Just wondering...

Just wondering...
I¹ve posted similar requests before, but I continue to re-post in case there
are new members who might have an answer.
I¹ve got a boss who wouldn¹t know a Macintosh from a mud hole. I¹m looking
for an OSX screensaver that mimics or emulates the After Dark Graph Stat
module that worked on OS9. In other words, I¹m looking for a screensaver
that creates bogus charts and/or graphs that appear to be legitimate. I need
this for those situations where I might be ³indisposed² reading a magazine
in the restroom.
Can anyone direct me to such?
Thanks in advance.

Sure, go to a drawing program and make such a graphic, or, for that
matter, even use genuine graphs, and put them into your iPhoto
library. Chose that album to be your screen saver.

Yes. Create spreadsheet charts/graphs, take screenshots, put them in a
folder (it doesn't have to be in iPhoto), and alter your settings in System
Preferences to use that folder.
But if you're "indisposed", surely you want the screen to time out, go
black, and require a password?

both rollers turn freely, but the horizontal one doesn't seem to be tranferring its movement. that's why i'd like to get inside the mouse and see what's (not) happening.

I've been getting messages like this for several days. I have no idea
what it means or what to do about it.
"Safari is no longer responding because of a script on the webpage

stop running the script, or let it continue?"

The problem isn't OS X. The problem is that you have an Iomega
drive. Lots of folks have reported formatting problems with them.
My recommendation is to return it and get your money back.
I can recommend an alternative brand that will be worlds more
reliable, if you like.

The advantage of the drive without an on/off switch is that the
manufacturer didn't have to pay to put such a switch in all of their
external hard drives.
I'd be very afraid of an external hard drive that didn't include an
on/off switch. I'd worry about where else did the manufacturer cut
costs.
