Caernarfon, United Kingdom - Michael Jones today announces the official release of the festive game Save Xmas for iPod and iPhone. Save Xmas is a Christmas game that everyone will enjoy during the festive period. Save Xmas contains 25 challenging levels, you must help Santa collect all of the gifts from the Evil Elves.

During the levels you will encounter obstacles which try to scupper your chances of collecting all of the gifts, you must try your best to avoid them. If you collect 1500 points or more and complete all 25 levels, you will unlock the Secret/Bonus level, yes, it is a secret, you must play it to find out what it is.

Save Xmas is the first game Michael has developed for iOS devices. Michael has been interested in game development for years, and since the recent interest in smartphones, the mobile gaming market has increased drastically. Michael has been working on the game for a good few months leading up to November, here is what he had to say:

"At the start of 2011, I had a idea for a game, it was a very big game for me as a beginner to try and develop, so I put that project on hold for a bit. For a few months after that I was developing some small projects (which were not going to be released). In August, I had that light bulb moment when a idea pops into your head - 'Let's make a Christmas game', and that's where it all started."

"I researched possible story lines, plots and objectives until I reached the end product I have today. It took a good few months to develop the game before even going into BETA. The feedback during the BETA testing was great, it provided we with such great ideas, I then used those ideas and developed them into the game. At this point I would like thank everyone involved during the testing of the game"

"I am pretty pleased with what I have achieved during these few months, and especially for a beginner in the whole game development industry. I have a few game ideas in the works right now, and will hope to start rolling them out Spring 2012, stay tuned"

Cyber Monday Sale on MileBug for iPhone and Android

Posted by: "prMac Mailer" prservices@prmac.com

Cyber Monday Sale on MileBug for iPhone and Android - Published on 11/28/11

IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Izatt has announced MileBug, the popular mileage log application, is on sale for cyber Monday, November 28th. Both the iPhone and Android versions of MileBug are on sale through the end of the day. MileBug helps those driving their own vehicles for business, charity, medical, or other reasons receive their reimbursement and/or tax deduction. MileBug has full path tracking with map display with the latest version 2.1.3 along with polish enhancements.

American Fork, Utah - The popular iPhone and Android mileage log application, MileBug, is on sale for only 99c through the end of the day, Monday, November 28, 2011 for "Cyber Monday". Cyber Monday is the digital, online equivalent of Black Friday, to serve the Internet shoppers with the same great deals.

MileBug has full path tracking with map display with the latest version 2.1.3 along with polish enhancements. With version 2.1.3, MileBug now defaults to the Number Pad for odometer entry for new users. The spinner/picker is still available via Settings. Also, when choosing from a list of Businesses, Destinations, Purposes, or Vehicles, the user is automatically returned to the Add Trip screen. No longer is it necessary for the additional step of clicking Save.

When adding a new trip, select "GPS Tracking" under the odometer readings on the Add Trip screen. This will slide on a Map View and show your current location. Simply tap "Start Tracking" and MileBug will drop a pin every time you move more than 1/10 mile. You can return to Add Trip and fill in the rest of the information, save it, and even leave MileBug to open other apps. As long as MileBug is running in the background (which it does by default), it's tracking your trip.

At any time, you can open the Trip and return to GPS Tracking and see your path on the map. Your path is drawn on the map, with dragable pins every 1/10 mile. To edit your path, you can drag pins around, remove pins, even add new pins. If you happen to forget to turn off GPS tracking when you arrive at your destination, you can easily trim your path to the correct pin when you do remember.

Full Path GPS Tracking is in the full version only. MileBug Lite GPS is only "as the crow flies" and does not include map display.

Since the 2.0 version, Lite users may transfer their data the full version via iTunes File Sharing. Easy to follow instructions are included in the Backup tab inside the MileBug app.

Back in 2008, just 2 weeks after the iPhone SDK was announced, plans were started for the development of MileBug. It eventually went live in the App Store on August 25th, 2008 as one of only 2500 apps then available in the store.

Over the past 3 years, MileBug has enjoyed some recognition:
1) In January 2010, MileBug was highlighted in the What's Hot section of 57 App Stores worldwide.
2) Also in January 2010, MileBug rose to be the #1 Finance app in Ecuador and #2 Finance app in the United States.
3) Featured in the Apple's WorldWide Developers' Conference (WWDC) banners both in 2009 and 2010.
4) The MileBug logo appeared in the front window display of the Apple stores in San Francisco and Salt Lake City.

Popular on the iPhone and iPod touch, MileBug was released for the Android and Nokia/Symbian platforms in the summer of 2010, and Nokia/Qt in Spring 2011.

To make next year's taxes that much easier, and the tax returns that much larger, MileBug helps those driving their own vehicles for business, or other reasons receive their reimbursement and/or tax deduction. From small to big business, from realtors to direct sales consultants, MileBug continues to serve those needing a mileage tax break.

"I have used this now for a year and it has been a lifesaver." - customer review

"As a realtor, I am always going somewhere. This program makes it extremely easy to track my miles for tax purposes." - customer review

"Milebug saves you time and money; and is a MUST have for any business owner." - iReviewiPhoneApps

In the U.S., the IRS business rate for 2011 (July-Dec) is 55.5 cents/mile. MileBug for the iPhone/iPod touch helps people track their miles and provides emailed reports for easy submission to employers, accountants, and the IRS.

"MileBug is a mileage tracker for your iPhone or iPod touch that makes it super easy to ... track your mileage. This is great if you need to report your mileage to your boss ... the [IRS] ... or for any personal reasons." - AppStoreApps

"In my job, I need a way to track mileage for work trips around town. MileBug does a great job of providing a really simple (and IRS friendly) method of tracking my trip logs. I really like how I can export the reports to email for reimbursement and reporting." - The Apple Blog

Inside the MileBug app is an option to select kilometers instead of miles. From within the Presets, users can define custom rates for business, charity, medical, and other categories. If you get one rate from your employer for reimbursement, and another rate from the IRS for your side business, you simply create two different business rates.

Device Requirements:
* iPhone and iPod touch - Requires iPhone OS 3.1 or later
* Android - Requires Android OS 1.6 or later
* 1.0 MB

Pricing and Availability:
MileBug 2.1.3 for iOS and Android is $.99 USD (or equivalent amount in other currencies) and available worldwide through the iTunes App Store and Android Market in the Finance category.

Cybernarium 1.0 for iOS - Cyberpunk Breakout Played in a Circular Arena - Published on 11/28/11

IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Smartphoneware today introduces Cybernarium 1.0 for iOS, their new single player, Breakout-style game with a cyberpunk motif. Played in a circular arena, the player controls a single droid-paddle that moves along the perimeter of the arena. The object of the game is to keep the plasma-ball within the arena until all the breakable blocks are destroyed. The game features two types of paddle control, two play modes, realistic game physics, hi-res graphics and animation, and a cyberpunk style GUI.

Odessa, Ukraine - Smartphoneware today is pleased to introduce Cybernarium 1.0 for iOS, their new single player, Breakout-style game with a cyberpunk motif. Unlike most games of this kind, some of the targets in the arena fire back at the player, testing his speed and accuracy in moving the paddle quickly to hit the ball and still avoid being destroyed by incoming fire.

With Cybernarium the player is challenged to a mind-bending Breakout game set in a dystopian future. Humans of the present must help humans of the future destroy energy farms built by conquering machines. Blocks inside the arena release energy and explode when hit by the moving plasma-ball. The ball bounces off the inner walls of the arena, and richochets between nearby blocks. The player controls the paddle that keeps the ball in play and uses it to aim at remaining blocks.

The game includes two modes of play: Behind the Walls, where the top half of the arena is walled in preventing the ball from escaping, and Insane Freedom, where there are no walls and the player must guard the full 360 degrees of the arena with his paddle. Cybernarium offers two methods of control for the droid-paddle, a flat plane only large enough to cover about 25 degrees of arc. There is manual control, where the player drags the shield around the circular perimeter on a geared track, and there is powered control, where the player uses left and right thumb buttons to move the paddle clockwise or counter clockwise. While manual control is easier, power controls offer greater speed and responsiveness.

There are two more thumb buttons: Shields and Missiles. Shields puts up a temporary force field shield around the inner wall of the arena, preventing the plasma-ball from leaving. Each time the ball escapes, the player loses one of his seven lives. Missiles are launched from the paddle and provide an alternate method of destroying blocks quickly. Each mode has 30 levels of play, and the faster each level is completed, the higher the scoring bonus.

What makes Cybernarium a truly outstanding game is a combination of the game's relentless, progressive logic and its impressive high resolution graphics and animation. At the start, all the blocks are rectangular and arranged in balanced groups. The physics of the game are inexorable: the angle of incidence equals the angle of reflection. Whatever the angle at which the ball hits an object or the paddle, it will bounce off at the same angle (except if the ball hits the paddle while the paddle is moving). This simple law guides the ball as it accelerates and decelerates, bouncing rapidly between blocks like a pinball or moving gracefully through a nearly empty arena.

Feature Highlights:
* 2 separate campaigns with 30 arenas each
* Dynamic arenas: levels will have moving/rotating, destroyable and indestructible objects and turrets that try to shoot you
* Ammunition: manually activated reflective shields to use in panic moments
* Ammunition: fire missiles to destroy some remaining objects or shoot the turrets before they shoot you
* 15 power-ups and power-downs to gain additional score, replenish ammunition or modify the game play
* Game Center support with Leaderboards and 20 different Achievements
* Stylish cyberpunk graphics and music

This logic becomes progressive as gameplay moves upward through each level. Rectangular blocks become arrays of square and rectangular blocks, then circular blocks are added. Soon, complex patterns of symmetrical blocks of of all shapes and sizes appear, along with gun turrets that fire blue-white energy pulses that can hit the paddle and destroy it. New styles of blocks are added, blocks oscillate, revolving gun turrets fire in four directions simultaneously, indestructible barrier blocks appear, rotating propeller barriers send balls off in every direction.

The physics and graphics are the product of separate engines but are insepearable in gameplay. The game physics determine what will happen and the graphics and animation provide a realtime movie that makes visible to human eyes what has already been decided. The large circular arena encloses a black starfield, and the ensuing pyrotechnics of animated plasma-balls, energy shields, and pulse weapons capture the player's attention and never lets go. Every effect looks right - sharp, clear, and realistic.

"We invite all gamers to help save the future Earth," stated Sergey Simkovsky of Smartphoneware. "This is Cybernarium: 'Year 2631, the planet is under control of cybernetic mechanisms. Remnants of mankind are united in their last resistance. Human scientists managed to get access codes to Cybernariums, cybernetic energy farms. To bypass the Cybernarium security the control code is sent to the past where the cybernetic menace has not been the issue yet. Humans of the past, you can control the Cybernarium mechanisms directly from your iDevices to reclaim as much energy as possible. Give the future a chance!'"

Planet Madness 1.0.1 for iOS: Space Arcade Game Plays Like Qix and Xonix - Published on 11/28/11

IMMEDIATE RELEASE

DISSEMBILL software today introduces Planet Madness 1.0.1 for iOS, their new space arcade Game with Qix-style gameplay. A universal app with hi-res graphics, players explore space dragging their spaceship horizontally and vertically. On enclosing a rectangular area, it is considered "explored" and the background behind it is revealed. The goal is to explore 75% or more of the screen without accidentally hitting any of the planets that are in constant motion.

Moscow, Russian Federation - DISSEMBILL software today is pleased to introduce Planet Madness 1.0.1 for iOS, their new space arcade Game with Qix/Xonix-style gameplay. A universal app with hi-res graphics, players explore space dragging their spaceship horizontally and vertically. As they move, their ship makes a thick cut in the black rectangle filling the screen. On cutting out any rectangular area, it is considered "explored" and the background behind it is revealed. The goal is to explore 75% or more of the screen without accidentally hitting any of the planets that are in constant motion.

Gameplay becomes very challenging very quickly. At level 1, there is a single Earth-like planet slowly moving inside the black rectangle that fills the screen. It bounces off walls sometimes, but its movement is generally predictable. At level 1, the spaceship is very fast and dragging it horizontally or vertically through the black rectangle quickly cuts off a smaller rectangle. This new rectangle is the area explored, and disappearing, the celestial object behind it becomes visible. Now, the planet's movement is confined to what remains of the black rectangle (unexplored space). The player may cut off many small rectangles or a single large one to reach the goal of having explored 75% or more of the screen.

Off course, the larger the area the player tries to enclose, the greater are the chances that he will hit a moving planet. Level 2 has 2 different planets and level 3 has 3 planets that must be avoided. At higher levels, planets increase in number and move faster, making exploration more difficult. If a planet hits an edge while it is being cut the planet explodes, though after it is cut the planet bounces off. As gameplay progresses winning screens contain many small rectangles, each enclosing one or more planets, small unexplored islands.

Feature Highlights:
* Score points exploring 75% or more of each level
* 100 different levels to explore
* Get one Shield for every 4,000 points or when covering more than 3 cells 10 times in a row without penalty
* Earn Shields when switching to the next level
* Shields protect the ship in case it hits a planet
* Every Planet explosion gives 100 points

"Planet Madness has many surprises built-in to challenge any gamer as they move from level to level," stated Nick Korn of DISSEMBILL software.

Device Requirements:
* iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
* Requires iOS 4.2 or later (iOS 5 tested)
* Universal app optimized for display on all iOS devices
* 53.4 MB

Pricing and Availability:
Planet Madness 1.0.1 is free and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Games category. iADs may be removed with an in-app purchase of $0.99 (USD).

"To conjure up new worlds and the peculiar creatures that inhabit them: with characters ranging from pesky gnomes to witty dwarfs; from a brave woodsman to a cunning witch. And as much fun as it is to revamp the classics, we also want to find those unsung folktales that have not yet been exhausted, to reveal their magic, and breathe life into the world around them."

Each of EPIC TALES storybooks are digitally hand-drawn and offer stunning 2d animations, professional voice actors, original music scores, and spellbinding interactive environments that are sure to draw readers deep into the story. The alternating witty and wacky humour, the high production value, and the high degree of interaction are amongst some of the things separates EPIC TALES from other storybooks; however, what ultimately distinguishes EPIC TALES is the implementation of a central storyteller.

"The tales are narrated by Silvertongue, a most likeable dwarf," Says Albert 't Hooft, co- founder and producer of EPIC TALES. "Silvertongue, who once travelled the world in search of the most intriguing tales and stories, now resides in his humble bookstore where he personally sees to your storybook collection.
