Why not?
They are both organic, round, tasty, nutritious, ....

But such different tastes, different degrees of juiciness, different
colors!

Just too different for fair comparison! ;^)

On Mac laptops pressing the Power button brings up the Restart/Sleep/
Shut Down dialog.

Command+Option+Control+Power
gives you an immediate shutdown.

If you would like to re-assign your keyboard shortcuts, check out:

Hi,

Now I'm confused.

recognize it.

The new bootcamp software installs in the Window partition to allow
Windows to recognise its new environment, not in Lion itself.

When I first installed Lion by itself, before starting its Bootcamp
operation, none of my other three Bootcamp partitions, nor my external
NTFS drive showed up on the desktop and still don't!

Unfortunately, it would not be easy to repeat the scenario just to test
it all again, not least because I never managed to find where the
downloaded copy of Lion was installed from, so I don't have a Lion
backup DVD!!!

Regards,

Doug Neale

When you stated that Lion won't recognize the partitions, do you mean that you cannot boot Windows from these partitions?

Not appearing on the desktop, to me, would be irrelevant. As long as I can boot the OS. Do they appear in the Finder? Have you checked Finder/preferences as to what is selected to appear on the desktop?
