Even with the app closed, or the phone locked, users can see the latest rates of their selected currency pairs. The app provides real-time updates for both traders and individuals.

Because there are many good reasons to track currency rates besides investing, iCurrency Plus has been designed to provide real-time information for both individuals and investors. Whether users are following a particular currency pair in anticipation of an upcoming trip, getting the best rate possible for this month shipment abroad, or tracking long-term trends as part of portfolio management, the app supplies immediate, authoritative numbers that are easy to access anytime, anywhere.

With the latest update of iCurrency Plus users can set up two different types of notifications. Selecting "Show Price in Notification Area" allows users to get up to date information on the currency rate changes in the Notification Center, no matter what the currency rate is. Alternatively, selecting "Performance Notifications" sends recipients notifications about a change of a rate when its performance has decreased or increased more than a pre-defined percentage over a period of time.

Thanks to the new way that iOS 5.0 treats notifications, users can even get the latest rates on the currencies of their choice on the Lock Screen of their devices. The first notification displayed after the phone is locked comes up as a bubble with the notification message. Should the user receive many notifications, they are displayed in a scrolling list on the Lock Screen. In both cases, sliding the icon on the notification from left to right opens the app where additional charts and details can be viewed.

In addition, notifications received while working in another app are displayed at the top of the screen. Users can continue to receive messages as each notification rolls over to display a new one. Recent updates can be accessed directly from the Notification Center by touching the top of the screen and swiping down while using any other app. Chosen rates are displayed, as well as other important notifications.

Finally, iCurrency Plus includes an integrated Currency Calculator function to instantly convert any amount of one currency into another. Five different colored lights beside each currency pair instantly indicate the status of any notifications. And daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly graphs are all available on the same screen.

All lists are automatically synced to a group account to be shared with user-selected iPhone/IPod/iPad2 owners and synchronized with a website so the lists can be shared with family and friends using laptops, personal computers, tablets or netbooks.

"My wife got the idea for MyList," explains James A. McNeilly, CEO of the Southlake, Texas company which developed MyList, Wedding Registry and Baby Registry among other mobile applications to make life easier and more fun. "We used to create all kinds of lists using Word and then leave the house without the list. Other times she would give me a note to pick something up and I couldn't read her writing or I wasn't sure which brand to get. To overcome these shopping problems we did an analysis of all the information needed for shopping and began developing MyList."

To use MyList you simply click on any of the list examples and start adding items. Merely scan the bar code of an item which will then populate most items' details automatically. You can also edit any detail seamlessly, or enter the store where the item can be found and add a photo.

When your list is complete notify each member of your group who will now be able to see your entire list by category and each item on your list. The shopper then chooses an item in the shop feature places a check on the item. When they have finished shopping they can tap the "Shopping Done" feature and the item will remain on your list but show no quantity, indicating it has been purchased.

The app is available directly from the iTunes App Store. The app is being promoted by Westwind Communications iPhone App Publicity.

GoSign allows Signature capture anywhere in the layout, display of �Terms and Conditions� on the same screen as the Signature, control of the color and thickness of both the pen and base line, and scriptable control over the workflow.

Newbury Park, California - geist interactive today is pleased to introduce GoSign 2.0 for iOS, a major update of their FileMaker Go extension that provides Advanced Signature Capture control, far surpassing the capabilities offered by the standard FileMaker Go. GoSign allows Signature capture anywhere in the layout, display of �Terms and Conditions� on the same screen as the Signature, control of the color and thickness of both the pen and base line, and allows scriptable control over the entire signature capture work flow.

GoSign 2.0 is a complete rewrite of GoSign. It is much simpler to use and has several new and important features when used in conjunction with FileMaker Go, the iOS version of FileMaker Pro. Although Signature capture is built into FileMaker Go, it is limited. Without GoSign, database and interface designers are not able to fully control the workflow, nor can they control the look and feel of the Signature pad. For example, there is no way to incorporate "Terms and Conditions" into the same view that contains the Signature Pad - without GoSign's advanced functionality, the full screen is used completely by the Signature Pad.

GoSign gives FileMaker Go developers more control over how they incorporate Signature Capture into their solutions. They can modify the look of the screen that contains the Signature Pad. They can add "Terms and Conditions." They can control the color and thickness of the Signature itself. They can control the thickness and color of the Signature base line. They can control whether or not the Signature Base Line is captured. None of this is possible relying solely on the standard, built-in capabilities of the FileMaker Go.

Signatures Captured by GoSign are stored as base64 encoded text. They can be displayed in FileMaker's embedded WebViewer, printed, emailed, and included in PDFs. Signatures can also be converted into PNGs and stored in FileMaker Container fields.

Integrating GoSign into a layout that is already designed takes about 15 minutes. Full, step-by-step documentation and example videos are available. An example use case would be that of a plumber on-site at a customer's house. A FileMaker Go application could be made that would allow the plumber to display a work order to the customer on an iPad, and capture their Signature. The signed work order could then be emailed directly to the customer right from the iPad.

"What in the world is Pollinate?" asked most people. "Good question!" answered Dwayne DeSylvia, GameCollider spokesperson. "Pollination is taken for granted by most people. This critical process brings countless benefits to the planet, including beautiful flowers, and well, duh, honey! Pollinate is our tribute to the tireless hours spent by pollinators to bring us sweet delights!"

The Pollinate game brings this incredible process to the masses. Players can assume the role of their favorite bee to collect and transfer pollen. But the rewards don't stop there. Players earn flower parts and create custom flowers to share with the world:

Fly different bees with varying levels of buzz:
* Bumble Bee - Strong worker but moves at slower pace. Good way to chill out while pollinating
* Honey Bee - A fine balance of all characteristics. Not too slow, not too fast

* Find Speed, Invincibility, and Stamina power-ups to enhance your buzz

Random acts of kindness:

Pollinate was conceived in early 2010 by some folks who consumed a bit too much honey one day and actually became part bee. Dragon Island is a Monster Collection RPG. The player's mission is to collect and build an army of monsters to fight with. The game borrows elements from old favorites like Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest and Pokemon and blends them with brand new gameplay ideas to create a unique iPhone/iPad/iPod touch gaming experience.

Tokyo, Japan - ZigZaGame Inc., with its partner Greyhound Games, just launched a KickStarter project hoping to raise enough funds to see the completion of its newest title, Dragon Island. Dragon Island borrows elements from old favorites like Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest and Pokemon and blends them with brand new gameplay ideas to create a unique iPhone/iPad/iPod touch gaming experience.

In Dragon Island, the player's mission is to collect and build an army of monsters to fight with, as in Pokemon. Like Pokemon, most of the 200 monsters in Dragon Island belong to an evolve chain. Little Dragon becomes Big Dragon, etc. In addition, some monsters in Dragon Island can be combined to create new monsters.

So What Makes This Game Different?
* Time instead of Mana: All actions use time as their resource. Stronger attacks can quickly dispatch enemies but leave your character waiting for a long time. Fast abilities have a much higher time to damage ratio.

* No Healing: Yes, there are no healing spells in the game. Unlike most RPGs, where your characters pretty much are never supposed to die, your monsters in Dragon Island will die all the time. They are expendable units in your army!

* Batting Order: To use a baseball analogy, you must plan a batting order of monsters before you leave for adventure. Your monster army can consist of more then 3 monsters (the limit that you can have in battle at one time). Once a monster dies it is replaced by the next monster in your batting order. Batting order size is determined by various factors. Plan an effective battle strategy that matches the enemies you expect to meet.

* Strength In Numbers: The measure of your army's strength is its lasting power. Better monster armies will make it farther into a dungeon before having to run back to town. Towns completely heal your army but also reset all battles. There are many way-points so you can pick up where you last found one.

Dragon Island is currently about 85% complete, and heavily over budget. In order to raise enough funds to give this game some finishing touches it deserves, a KickStarter project with the same name has been launched.
