Greetings,

Can anyone tell me how I can view the CGM files in my i-phone? I use Vizex
Larson Viewer on my PC to view those files but in the Apple Store such
applications does not exist. Need your help please.

Thank you,

Show only flagged emails?

One of the best features of iOS5 is the ability to flag important emails. When you have 200 emails in your inbox it is almost impossible to find a message that was flagged a couple of weeks ago. Is there a way to filter the email so only flagged ones show up? Failing that can they be sorted to at least temporarily group them all together?

Thanks in advance... Bob

iphone camera orientation

Hello

Is there a way to switch iphone camera (video and photo) orientation?

I usually like to take landscape pictures/movies with the volume buttons pointing up and the result is a upside down pictures and movies...

I noticed that if I play movies using quicktime it fixes and shows the movies at the right position but if I use another player it shows them upside down.

I wish I could set the camera to the position I want and make it "standard" which means volume buttons pointing up/home button to the left.

Thanks

Rod

Codes Question

Just redeemed my first code. Does the redeem option automagically know whether its an iPhone or iPad app? It installed the redeemed app but it loaded on the iPad as an iPhone app.
Thanks.

I use Mapquest, too. It has always worked well for me. Give it a try.

Could anyone recommend a good free navigation application with voice

I get lots of spam, too. Some of it pretty nasty. I check the email address and forward it to abuse@yahoo.com, abuse@hotmail.com or wherever is appropriate. Hopefully, the email hosts will catch up with these creeps some day. Until then I don't think there is much we can do short of changing email addresses like you have done. VERY annoying.

> I ended up changing my main email address because I was getting pictorial porn spam from yahoogroups. I also changed the email for my groups on yahoo. I still get some spam but much better. I complained to yahoo as well. I also report the spam then put it in my junk box. I do have to say that a lot of senders had hotmail addresses. That too is better since I block the sender and hotmail.
>
> On another note, I get terribly bothersome calls on my calls from computers with bogus numbers, who most of the time don't even answer even if I wait. I worry that if this will ever get to my iphone, I'll really be angry. I get some texmessage ads and a few calls from telemarketers on my iphone, but it has not been as bad as what I get at my home land line phone.

I've checked the email addy they're being sent from and they're all from addys with yahoo.com. I got rid of all the hotmail spam just by blocking hotmail from my gmail account. I noticed since participating quite a bit more in my yahoogroups, the spam has started. I can't say that it's because I send messages to my yahoogroups more these days but it sure is a coincidence.

Microphone Button?

Posted by: "inphasefive" skirbyiphone@gmail.com   inphasefive

Merry Christmas everyone! I was looking at the iPhone iMessage app/service and I saw a passage on the Apple site that said:

"The intelligent iPhone keyboard lets you text fast and accurately. That's because it predicts and suggests words as you type. So just tap away. Or tap the microphone button and dictate your text — the keyboard types what you say."

I cannot find a microphone button anywhere on the texting screen and even in the picture on the site
http://www.apple.com/iphone/built-in-apps/messages.html
I don't see it.

It would be really cool to be able to dictate texts, emails etc without leaving the built-in app but I sure don't see how.

Anyone?

Hold the home button down for a couple of seconds and siri gets activated.

Ah, got it. you need to have Siri turned on in order for the microphone button to appear. I had turned off Siri to experiment with battery usage.
