About the Instructors:
Phil Turay:
Phil Turay Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York; Phil has been dancing since the tender age of three. He began taking tap lessons at the local PAL and fell in love with dance as an artform. In high school, Phil dabbled in musical theatre (most notably playing Tyrone in the stage production of FAME). In college, Phil broadened his dance vocabulary by joining an international dance group specializing in multicultural styles (Indian, African, Chinese, etc.). After college, Phil joined the ReMIXX Performers in New York City and began performing for various music industry artists and events. At the age of Twenty-three, Phil currently resides in Los Angeles where he is pursuing a professional career in dance as well as a Graduate degree in Psychology from Pepperdine University.
Syndee M. Winters:
Whether it s technical choreography or a simple two-step I believe that anyone can dance. Dancer/ Choreographer Syndee M. Winters believes that dance comes from within. New York born and Miami, Florida raised Syndee began dancing at age 15 in High School. Excelling quite quickly as a dancer, Syndee began working as a Freelance Dancer / Choreographer for a number of dance studios and inner-city programs throughout Miami. Dancing background for the Daddy Yankee Tour, Reggaeton artist Lisa M, American Idol Jordin Sparks, and traveling the world as a professional dancer Syndee has appeared in music videos for artists like Lil Wayne, Rihanna, Damian Marley, DJ Grandmaster Flash and many others. Syndee is a former veteran of the NBA s most famous dance team The New York Knicks City Dancers. She was also choreographer and assistant coach for the Knicks City Kids dance team and has hosted many events for the Knicks organization. She has appeared in magazines such as Teen People, Giant, and
ESPN Magazine. She began choreographing for non-dancers after a friend asked her to teach him some simple moves before going to a High School party.
She is excited to have worked with Phil Turay on The Quick & Dirty Guide to Hip Hop and hopes that it will be helpful to someone like you.

About HTMLValidator:
HTMLValidator validates web pages against HTML standards, for example checking whether a page really is HTML4 strict or if it's just tag soup.
The program checks both local files and pages located remotely on web servers and it works without using any external services. This means that it can check pages within a firewall or those running on the local machine, as well as pages on the internet in general. And because it doesn't put any load on remote services or servers, there are no limits as to how many pages can be checked or how often the user can check them. It offers repeatable and predictable validation with a native Mac interface.
HTMLValidator supports batch validation, where a group of pages can be added to a list which is then validated in one action. The program validates each page sequentially and the results can then be viewed individually or in summary form.
Safari users will be able to use the Direct Validation Menu, which is added to the menu bar when HTMLValidator is running. This offers one-click validation of the current page in Safari. It directly copies the source of the page out of Safari, validates the source as Safari saw the page, before displaying the results. This allows HTMLValidator to validate pages that are affected by cookies or by user login credentials that would otherwise be difficult to check.

From time to time it happens you need to scan a document. It takes a while, and there is not always a scanner at hand when you need one. A simple and convenient alternative is to use a digital camera or a smartphone to take a picture of the document. This works incredibly well and it only takes seconds. Indianapolis, Indiana - Mapdiva LLC today is pleased to announce a major update to Artboard, the simple, powerful, fun vector drawing software for Mac OS X. Artboard 1.3 features a completely redesigned user interface for creating simple styles as you draw, dozens of new built-in styles and editable vector clip art, and a help resources panel featuring an orientation video for new users. Artboard is optimized for OS 10.7 "Lion."
One of the big interface updates is a new Format Bar that simplifies and enhances the overall workflow. Create new and cloned simple styles without the need to open additional palettes. Artboard goes way beyond simple stroke and fill styles with its expert "stacked" styles and powerful Style Inspector. Artboard 1.3 increases its usefulness with the ability to individually export selected objects from your drawing in PNG, JPG, TIF, and editable vector PDF file formats. Several new styles and clip art are included in the built-in collection, such as an assortment of wood grain textures and logo elements. An interesting addition for developers is a brand new set of iOS templates.

* Improved controls for stroke line cap and join settings
* Smarter 'Offset Copy' operation preserves original type of objects such as polygons and round rectangles
* Export now supports only exporting the selected objects
* Export for raster formats such as JPEG, TIFF and PNG use a new pathway to avoid the lack of support in PDF (and print) for transparent gradients. Transparent gradients are now exported correctly for JPEG, TIFF and PNG formats
* 'Outline Path' operation made smarter and enhanced to work with special stroke styles such as arrows, tapered, tagged and rough strokes
* Library Manager now creates a simpler and more useful default structure for new collections
* User created collections are now named based on the logged-in user name
* Wording of 'locked' styles and clip-art changed to indicate 'editable' instead, to make it clear what locking really means. Unlock/Lock icon changed to a pencil or crossed pencil
* Enhanced help
* New preference added for changing the freehand drawing smoothing factor
* Locked layers no longer incorrectly accept pasted objects or moved layers
* Numerous minor bug fixes
