That is the simple idea behind BlinkMaster, a fun and engaging game that puts the "power of thinking, without thinking" into your hands. This new game app for the iPad, with iPhone and iPod versions to be released soon, is loosely based on the principles of Malcolm Gladwell's best seller Blink - the Power of Thinking Without Thinking. It has great graphics and a multiple-player game option, where up to four teams can play simultaneously. This makes BlinkMaster perfect for parties, family gatherings, or just fun time on your own.

Download the BlinkMaster app and start to play, individually, with friends, or even with kids. Each game play starts with a two-second "blink" of nine visual clues (pictures) related to a famous personality, place, movie, or a book. The images are then covered with colored tiles with points on them depending on how closely the clue is connected to the correct answer.

As you reveal a clue by tapping on a tile, its point value is deducted from your starting score. Your goal is to keep your score as high as possible while guessing the correct answer.

Two versions of BlinkMaster are available, a completely "free" teaser pack with no irritating ads and a premium one featuring almost 300 questions with more than 2,500 visual clues for only $1.99, with free updates of future question packs as they are available. The premium BlinkMaster also allows multiple users to play and track their scores on the same device and has a team play option, where up to four teams can play with each other.

What is Kanga Pouch?
For those who want their devices made much more child & human resistant! These days there are plenty of families that use iPhones and iPads as a wonderful device to help entertain and educate your kids. However these items are very expensive and not made child friendly. Plus they are easily dropped and often mishandled.

As with us, our youngest kid tends to touch the screen and start re-arranging the app icons each time he gets it. And then you notice when you get it back there are missing applications and dirty fingerprints all of the screen.

Inevitably at least 3-4 times during a movie, our son will bring us the iPad or iPhone back because he has inadvertently or probably more like advertently exited out of the movie app and he is now in another app he isn't suppose to be in (I mean really does a 23 month old need to check his email?)!

Well after about 1000 times of doing this, I am tired of it and I have taken matters into my own hands. We have created the Kanga Pouch cases for the iPhone & iPad to help us all out.

PegLight 2 adds a shape selection tool, improved GUI, and a PegLight Community for sharing peg drawings with other users. Similar to well-known toys, PegLight's giant pixels let kids create imaginative drawings.

Medford, Massachusetts - Knert Software today is pleased to announce PegLight 2 v1.0 free for iOS, a major update to their peg art Entertainment app for kids. Featuring multi-touch drawing, four different colors, and variable zoom, PegLight 1 was cited as "New & Noteworthy" and achieved 500,000 downloads. PegLight 2 adds a shape selection tool, an improved GUI, and a PegLight Community for sharing peg drawings with other users. Also available as individual, in-app purchases are: 20 different colors, square pegs, star pegs, and triangle pegs. These options add a never before seen dimension to peg art, multiplying the possibilities of color and texture enormously. Similar to well-known toys, PegLight's giant pixels let kids create imaginative drawings.

At launch in landscape orientation, PegLight 2 displays a blank canvas, a large grid of dark gray dots on a black background. In the lower left of the tab bar are five dots from which to choose: black, red, yellow, green, or blue. Touching any color selects it, and young artists can "insert" color pegs into any "hole" in the grid. Pegs can be put in one at a time by touching any dot, whether empty or already filled. Dragging across the screen creates a line of colored pegs. And dragging slowly with two fingers creates two lines. In fact, kids can draw together or use as many of their own fingers as they like. New in this version is the shape selection tool. In addition to the Normal mode, where pegs are applied individually, a Square tool lets the user drag the outline of a square or rectangle, which is automatically filled in with pegs. The Ellipse tool lets the user drag a white outline of a circle or ellipse, which is immediately filled in when the artist lifts their finger from
the screen.

The continuously variable 3x zoom makes it easy to create detailed drawings, as each dot becomes as large as or larger than a fingertip. With single pixel accuracy, artists can experiment with line and color, and use black pegs to simulate holes. A very useful new feature is that touching any dot creates a peg that is twice its normal size, which quickly shrinks down to normal. In this way, the color and shape of the peg is never hidden by the artist's finger. In addition, the touch interface has been improved so that kids can drag their finger continuously to create smooth, unbroken, complex lines and fills.

Most exciting about this latest update is the creation of a PegLight Community for sharing peg drawings with other users. From within the app, users can browse drawings that have been uploaded by others, and they can download any drawing into the app with one touch. Once opened in the app, kids can use a downloaded drawing as a template to create their own rendering of the picture. Artists can also save their own work for uploading to the Community, for display, or to continue working on later. The PegLight Community page mimics the iTunes store, with icons for Featured, Top Rated, Top Downloads, and My Uploads.

UK based Lightwood Games today introduces Daily Word Bingo 1.0, their new fast-action word game for iOS devices. Featuring a new theme each day, users face a 60-second clock and compete to see who can get the highest score on daily leaderboards. The aim of the game is to think of words beginning with each letter of the alphabet within a given subject. The game is scored using a bingo card, with each of the 25 squares revealing a different letter.

Stoke-on-Trent, United Kingdom - Lightwood Games has thrown down the gauntlet to iPhone, iPod touch and iPad users, with a new daily challenge. Their latest app, "Daily Word Bingo", is a fast-action word game with a new theme each day. Users face a 60-second clock and compete to see who can get the highest score on daily leaderboards.

The aim of the game is to think of words beginning with each letter of the alphabet within a given subject. There's a different subject every day, ranging from animals to writers, boys names to yellow things. The game is scored using a bingo card, with each of the 25 squares revealing a different letter. Players earn bonus points and extra time by marking off lines, and aspire to perhaps, one day, complete a full house.

A unique feature is that after each game closes, Lightwood's team validates all the words to weed out nonsense answers and penalise cheats. Players can then check back to see their final positions for the previous day. Having already created a number of puzzle games that allow players to go head-to-head with friends, Lightwood wanted to bring together larger groups of users for a word battle.

"Daily Word Bingo gives everyone a quick daily word game fix that they can play anywhere. It only asks for one minute of your time", said Lightwood's Chris Newman. "It sounds so simple - and really it is - but it's amazing how easily your mind goes blank under the pressure of the clock".
