I have used one for years, first with a Treo 650 and then with a iPhone 3GS. They are great. If you get one that is specific to your model of device, they will securely hold it.
I use their "move clips" to switch between a GPS unit and the iPhone, or use both at the same time.
http://www.proclipusa.com/moveclips /moveclips. aspx
To install the dash mount portion, it slips between parts of the dash. To remove or move it, it is just a matter of flexing the mount. They provide a tool to open a gap between the dash parts, but it most cases it is not needed.

Has he done the *228 on the phone to update the phone's tower/roaming
info? Verizon suggests doing this update monthly.
Also can't believe other Marines haven't helped him with this. A ton of
Marines have iPhones.
He can check his Verizon account from the phone or better to see and
read, from a computer. It will show his usage of phone/calling/voice and
data... and if any are extra charges from roaming. It up dates pretty
fast but not instantly.
He can also call Verizion Customer service from phone or landline.
Visit a Verizon store as suggested.
Yes Hawaii is in the US, for several years, except when the President
was born. ;-)

Try a site called manilla.com. It automatically gets your bills and organiZes them for you. They have a iOS program but it is much easier setup on a computer. By the way there was no Outlook 2004; there was 2003 and then 2007 and now 2010.

When a bill arrives I add it to the calendar when its due and set the color to red. When I pay the bill I then change the color to green. Works very well and my power has only been cut off a couple of times :). I am looking for an app that will let me do this for the iPad/iPhone. I am retired and travel quite a bit and have no need for a laptop and don't want one. The iPad does everything I want to do at this time in my life. I am quite computer literate since I am a retired computer engineer and HP Master ASE. Anyone have a suggestion?
