"In my opinion, it is a combination of various factors, but it can be filtered down to three key ones. First of all, it has to do with great content. We not only offer iPhone male users a way to improve their dating skills, we do it by applying the latest dating science from the world's best dating experts. Second element of our success recipe is following the legacy of the best technology advocate of simplicity, Steve Jobs. He always preached simplicity and user friendliness, which we are very passionate about. Our apps are in essence iPhone dating games that are easy to play. Yet, the more iPhone users play our games, the more they learn about dating and improve their dating skills."

Interesting. So what is the third factor of your success so far?

"There are many products on the market that offer both great content and are easy to use. That is not enough. Consumers are overwhelmed with commercials and marketing messages. We are fully aware of it and refuse to go down this route. We believe in targeting only people that are interested in what we offer. It takes a lot of efforts to carefully select our target segments, but it is worth it. We don't want to spend our marketing budget on communicating to married women about our iPhone dating apps for men. This way our marketing budget is spent in a very effective way."

Dating is an area that is booming, especially online. Do you consider big online dating sites competition or partners?

"The whole dating industry has one common goal. To enable people to meet their match. Online dating sites make it easier for people to browse through people that they might be interested in and start talking to them. If they like each other, they can meet in real life. And this is where we come into play. We teach men the dating basics of real life. By playing our iPhone dating apps they can not only test their dating skills, but also improve them. So, to answer your question, we see our products as complementary to online dating sites and we also see dating sites as partners, not as competition."

New in this upgrade, amongst other changes, is the possibility to not only drag files but also content from applications to Yoink, like images or texts from websites. It also now offers a hotkey to show Yoink so it can accept drops from the Dock's stacks and from other applications that, for technical reasons, don't trigger Yoink when dragged.

Vienna, Austria - Eternal Storms Software, creator of popular Mac software ScreenFloat, a productivity app that creates screenshots that float above all windows to keep a piece of information visible at all times and flickery, a flickr desktop client, today announced the immediate availability of Yoink 2.0 - an upgrade to their popular drag and drop helper app for OS X Lion. This application provides a small window for dragging files to, so to simplify dragging files between spaces, fullscreen apps or between Finder windows.

Drag'n'dropping files in OS X Lion, especially between different spaces or fullscreen applications can be very cumbersome. Yoink provides a small window at the left or right edge of your screen every time the user starts dragging something (like a file from Finder or an image from a website) so they can drop it onto it. This frees up the mouse to freely and easily navigate between spaces, fullscreen apps or different windows without the drag being lost. Once the user has reached the desired destination of the drop, they can pick up the files from Yoink and drag them from there to the targeted window or application.
A short screencast is available at the website to better demonstrate how Yoink works.

What's new in Yoink 2.0?
* Yoink now accepts content from applications - like images from websites, text from text documents and more
* File Stacks: If several files are dropped onto Yoink in one drag, Yoink (optionally) combines them to one item to make dragging them all out at once easier
* Yoink's window can now be shown with a hotkey (by default, F5) to offer a way to drag files from the Dock's Stacks, iTunes and other applications that don't trigger Yoink for technical reasons

The map is automatically generated for the evening on which the map is requested. These maps illuminate not just constellations, but planets, moon phases and other objects visible with the naked eye. There is also an accompanying list of objects visible with binoculars and small telescopes, as well as larger telescopes for the more series observer.

"The versatility of this program makes it accessible to everyone, "says Descamps, "It's great for families and couples, but also for students or the casual star-gazer."

Through Stramap's infographic, "Astronomy Through the Ages: Epic Moments of Astrological Genius 2400 BC to 2011," viewers can follow the lineage of space discoveries, inventions, and developments from Stonehenge to today. The graphic leads viewers from the earth, where the earliest known historical events are recorded on a timeline, and takes them into space, where the most recent discoveries are plotted on the tips of a compass. In addition to the valuable information presented, the graphic is clean and attractive, rendering the information easy to read and understand.

"Starmap Through the Ages" is a short video showing the value many civilizations have gleaned from watching stars throughout history--as a means to navigate, tell time, and learn more about our vast universe. The video comically points out how helpful Starmap could be to early astronomers and scientists.

She previously served as VP, Parents and Kids Online at Scholastic Inc. in New York.
