Right, the inline (appears as part of a message), is what I don't want!
Ah, a folder! Never thought of that. It seems to have worked!

I had a looksee at the app's homepage, Jim. It says that Attachment Tamer takes care of Mail's shortcomings. What would those be? What can AT do that sticking attachments in a folder (a suggestion of Tom and also something I've done) can't solve.
Thanx. Oneal

Clearly, any replies to a thread are meant not only for the OP but also for
anyone who might be interested.
So, if you have a Numbers file, copy it to an iOS device, and update it on
the latter, you can't copy it back? That's what I meant.

No, it is not clear to who the comment was meant for, without mentioning a name or OP. Threads are ongoing conversations between multiple people, that are often hijacked by some to change the main topic or interject another point.
You may notice that I often will include several names in my posts directing certain comments to specific individuals, when not speaking in general to anyone reading the list.
I have not found an easy way to copy back, and sometimes I have made a change to the other location and those changes would then be lost. That is why I said, if I had spelled it correctly, "I wish it synced."

Why would anyone *not* use a credit card? You get (typically) several weeks
of free credit, you pay no interest if you pay in full each month and, as
you say, you get the protection of the card provider.

What's the best investment tracking software for Mac?
Posted by: "Earle Jones" earle.jones@comcast.net earlejones501

Folks:
What are the best investment tracking programs for Mac?
I need something that is fairly sophisticated, can track several portfolios, keep up with yearly gains & losses, etc.
Right now I use Charles Schwab's "StreetSmart", which is free, but I wish it would do more for me.
Thanks!

I haven't updated this list in a while, so it may be partially out of

If I have no interest in iBooks textbooks do I have to download this? Is it necessary to be ready for future updates which I might really be interested in? Yes, I have iPad 2.

No, but what difference is going to make if you do download the update. If you plan to download any future updates though, this will be part of them, so avoiding it now will just forestall it till you do decide to up date.

You don't need the iBooks app. I would update iTunes though. It's almost necessary to do this.

Thank you Forrest and Harry - Just exactly what I wanted to know. I'll go get iTunes.
I use iTunes and get a lot of books (Audio and Kindle) but it's been a loooooong time since I needed a text book. I might want an iBooks regular book at some point - maybe I should download that other one - ??? oh it's a puzzlement.
