As a plagiarism checker, Novus Scan is a great addition to a teacher's toolkit, enabling them to compare student's homework or term papers. It also helps writers and editors compare versions of articles and manuscripts, highlighting similarities between them.
Novus Scan works completely offline. Users create a database of documents and then scan the database using a document the they'd like to check for copied text. Novus Scan compares the text to its document database using a two-step scanning algorithm that first finds candidate documents, and then compares them word-by-word to the text that they're scanning.
Novus Scan detects exact phrases at least 8 words long and inexact phrases longer than 8 words. Perfect for mahjong lovers or those who simply enjoy challenging memorization, Mahjong In Poculis is a memory game where players have to select identical tiles to make them disappear. The main constraint is that they have to be on the layout's borders. All of the Mahjong pieces must be cleared, but it takes some discipline, strategy, and a little bit of luck to win the 5 medals of each scenario.
Commonly called Shanghai games, Mahjong In Poculis features 300 layouts and 6 fun scenarios, including Christmas, Halloween, Asian, Easter, Wonderland and Future. Each one has its own 50 layouts, graphics, musics, sound effects as well as an easy-to-read statistics panel where scores from scenarios' layouts can be quickly observed. To get users started, a 5 step, in-game tutorial is displayed on first launch. Players may also post their scores and photo on the game's website.

We wanted to add something really new to the gameplay and decided to change the scoring by the use of combos. You always have to select identical tiles but you have to evaluate many possibities to be sure to create straights or four of a kind"
Among Mahjong In Poculis' most prominent features is its combo feature to gain more points. Other than beating a particular time for clearing the board, players earn points with combos such as four of a kind (two identical pairs) or straights. If the player can no longer match a pair, the game board automatically reshuffles the tiles.

Completed notes can have their priority set from the Scheduling Menu as a category (High, Medium, Low), or according to a Due Date (user selectable from the date picker). Also available is a Recurring category that can be set for Daily, Weekly, etc., reminders.
The colored, rectangular sticky notes are displayed three to a shelf, or nine to a page. Scroll dots indicate that more notes are viewable on that shelf by scrolling horizontally. Touching any note causes it to grow to fill the entire screen. The notes are clean and spacious holding just six items in full screen mode (before scrolling) and three items in shelf display mode. When enlarged, notes may be edited, and swiping left to right across any item brings up a Completed button beside the item. Touching the button dims the item, but does not delete it, check it, or cross it out. Swiping right to left brings up a Delete button, which removes the item with a text slide animation off the page.
The app includes many customization options including backgrounds, textures, colors, fonts, headings, priorities, etc. Sound effects can be turned on/off, and Archives (completed items) maintained up to 60 days. With a colorful, clean interface for posting, checking, editing, and completing To-Dos, Orderly breaks down long lists of reminders into easily manageable sticky notes.

Sticky notes go on one of three shelves, depending on priority: High, Medium, or Low. Users are free to invent their own color-coding for notes, as the app supplies all six of the standard sticky note colors (pale yellow, pale green, pale blue, pale orange, pale red, or white). Completed notes can have their priority set from the Scheduling Menu as a category (High, Medium, Low), or according to a Due Date (user selectable from the date picker). Also available is a Recurring category that can be set for Daily, Weekly, etc., reminders.
The colored, rectangular sticky notes are displayed three to a shelf, or nine to a page. Scroll dots indicate that more notes are viewable on that shelf by scrolling horizontally. Touching any note causes it to grow to fill the entire screen. The notes are clean and spacious holding just six items in full screen mode (before scrolling) and three items in shelf display mode. When enlarged, notes may be edited, and swiping left to right across any item brings up a Completed button beside the item. Touching the button dims the item, but does not delete it, check it, or cross it out. Swiping right to left brings up a Delete button, which removes the item with a text slide animation off the page.
The app includes many customization options including backgrounds, textures, colors, fonts, headings, priorities, etc. Sound effects can be turned on/off, and Archives (completed items) maintained up to 60 days. With a colorful, clean interface for posting, checking, editing, and completing To-Dos, Orderly breaks down long lists of reminders into easily manageable sticky notes.

The controls are simple and the graphics are smooth. The sounds generated from firing the gun are menacing and the background music is spooky. This app also connects to the Game Center and can post top scores for added competition between the serious gamers. There are also power-ups, humans parachuting to the ground and aeroplanes that you must avoid, if you do destroy them, points will be deducted from the end score!
When you start playing, either the arcade or classic version, the controls are the same. Tap the screen to aim and fire the gun; remember that the gun has a ninety degree angle and cannot fire at the very bottom of the screen. This feature of the game makes it even harder to shoot all the aliens or asteroids before the gun is out of range. To reload the gun you must tap the word 'reload' located at the bottom left part of the screen, you cannot reload if your gun still has bullets waiting to be fired.

The controls are simple and the graphics are smooth. The sounds generated from firing the gun are menacing and the background music is spooky. This app also connects to the Game Center and can post top scores for added competition between the serious gamers. There are also power-ups, humans parachuting to the ground and aeroplanes that you must avoid, if you do destroy them, points will be deducted from the end score!
When you start playing, either the arcade or classic version, the controls are the same. Tap the screen to aim and fire the gun; remember that the gun has a ninety degree angle and cannot fire at the very bottom of the screen. This feature of the game makes it even harder to shoot all the aliens or asteroids before the gun is out of range. To reload the gun you must tap the word 'reload' located at the bottom left part of the screen, you cannot reload if your gun still has bullets waiting to be fired.
