Until a few days ago, the mail coming to my inbox (using Mail and OS 10.7.4) was sorted according to date, which is my preference, though I occasionally change it and sort it by sender when I want to find a particular email (or I use the "search" window in the top right)
Lately, though, whenever I open one of my mail folders and then return to the Inbox, it is sorted according to sender. I reclick the date column and it resets, once I go to a mail folder, it resorts again.
What did I do and how can I undo it? I want the folders, including the Inbox, to stay sorted the way I had chosen.
Joan, debating about upgrading to Mountain Lion. Any problems, things to look for?

I often copy URLs and paste them in emails to send to friends.
Many times the copied URL does not result in an active link for the receiver.
I use Yahoo Mail on an iMac with 10.6.8 OS.
What am I not doing, or doing incorrectly to make the URL not a viable link when received?

Howdy.
Links can sometimes be stripped out of a message on its journey from
source to target via multiple Internet servers and also by the great
variety of computers, platforms, systems, versions, and email software
in use that all have to get along but sometimes cannot.
You might try putting Less Than and Greater Than symbols around the
link. This can often, but not always, keep the link working for the
recipient.

Do you know if they appear "broken", i.e., there are spaces or line-breaks
within the URL? This happens quite often but can be fixed by reassembling
the URL.

I recently replaced am ipad digitizer and wireless antenna due to both being damaged by my client. In order to replace the wireless antenna, I had to remove the mother board, disconnect all cables in order to reconnect the new antenna. I put it all back together the exact same way. So when I powered it on, I got a message that said: "iPad is disabled, try again in 22, 417, 838 minutes". Does not even give me the option to connect to itunes in order to unlock it. What can I do to fix this? Anyone got a solution? I'd really apprecaite it.

I believe the parts you describe are termed "not user serviceable", which means that whatever warranty you might have had is dead and gone.
I suspect the number of people here with sufficient experience to advise you on repairs is somewhere between "extremely few" and "none".
If I had a so-damaged iPad, I would have taken it to Apple and asked if it was repairable, and (since the answer would likely have been "no", bought a new one.
And probably have billed the client for it.

Hi there;
iPad is not a serviceable device. According to Apple service procedure it
will be replaced with a complete new device if it is under warranty. If it
is out of warranty they will ask you to buy new one.
Any Apple device running OS apart from Mac OS X like iMac MACMINI macbook
MacPro.
Is unit replacement.
