I just went to the Sprint website and when you click on

Its definatley a site issue. i can confirm the same thing.

I have an EVO 3D and was going to get an EPIC 4G Touch today online and its down for me as well.
The main site works but when i log in to my user account it goes down hill from there.

Was today the day they got the 4 on their website or something?

I have been with Sprint for a year now and the coverage is spotty
but overall not as bad as some say.

Sprint has the only plan with unlimited data unless your grandfathered
in with ATT or Verizon.

Restore/sync from iPhone 3GS to iPhone 4S?

Posted by: "rkkeller8" thekellergroup@gmail.com   rkkeller8

I am trying to get prepared for next week.

The last iPhone I had was the 3GS, so the last iTunes
backup I have is from that.

When I get the new 4S next week, can I just restore or
sync with this or will I have to start from scratch?

Thanks,

Rich

Its been so long I forget, can I at least get the apps
back on it? I had to update 122 of them last night as
I haven't been keeping up.

I am going to use Gmail from an exchange profile I think
so I can get my contacts on it that way.

Sent to you by Bill Boulware via Google Reader: Best Buy begins
accepting iPhone 4 pre-orders, too via 9to5Mac by Christian Zibreg on
10/7/11

Best Buy has begun advertising their comprehensive iPhone 4S
pre-ordering program which includes black and white iPhone 4S model in
16/32/64 GB flavors and with service agreements from Verizon Wireless,
AT&T and Sprint. You can pre-order the handset over at the Best Buy
site today. Expect deliveries to be made next Friday, October 14. Best
Buy is sweetening the deal with their Phone Trade-in program that lets
you sell them your used device in good condition and claim up to a $300
gift card redeemable against an iPhone 4S purchase.

The iPhone 4S can be also pre-ordered via the online Apple store, and
Verizon Wireless, Sprint and AT&T online and brick-and-mortar stores.
AT&T’s online pre-ordering system experienced some hiccups this
morning, but those issues appear to have been sorted out. If you’re in
the market for an iPhone, you might also find this AT&T pricing grid
handy, included below.

Hi Bill! I just preordered the 4s and am going to give my husband my 4. The site made me choose a data plan since he is replacing a 3GS. But, what I'm really going to do is take it for myself and give him my 4. Are you getting this so far LOL ? Anyway, what I'm wondering is will they still know who's phone it is if we switch? I have the unlimited on mine and he has 2G.
Thanks!

Sent to you by Bill Boulware via Google Reader: How the iPhone 4S
Stacks Up Against the Smartphone Competition [CHART] via Mashable! by
Christina Warren on 10/7/11

The iPhone 4S is officially available for pre-order and will be
available to pick up in stores next week. While the fifth generation
iPhone is certainly the most anticipated new mobile handset to hit
stores this year, it is by no means the only game in town.

In addition to choosing between AT&T, Sprint and Verizon, consumers
have more iPhone alternative options today than ever before.
Understanding that phone specs only tell part of the story, we decided
to see how the iPhone 4S stacks up against the competition, including
the iPhone 4, the Droid Bionic, the Samsung Galaxy S II and the
BlackBerry Torch 9850.

Just a note to Windows Phone fans â€" we didn’t forget about you. Look
out for future articles focusing on the new Mango release and how the

AT&T: Our iPhone is better than your iPhone

better than your iPhone via BGR: The Three Biggest Letters In Tech by
Zach Epstein on 10/7/11

AT&T, Verizon Wireless and Sprint are all launching the iPhone 4S next
Friday, but AT&T is doing its best to ensure consumers know that not
all iPhones are created equal. The presence of HSPA 14.4 gives the
iPhone 4S a theoretical download speed ceiling of 14.4Mbps, but only if
you’re on an HSPA network. Here in the U.S., Verizon Wireless and
Sprint both employ EV-DO 3G networks while AT&T customers will enjoy
speeds over HSPA that are twice as fast, the company says. ”We can’t
wait for our customers to experience the incredible new iPhone 4S on
our 4G network and enjoy download speeds of up to twice as fast,” said
AT&T CEO Ralph de la Vega in a statement. “When you combine the
nation’s fastest mobile broadband network with iPhone 4S, as well as
our new pricing for iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4, we think we have the best
iPhone line up in the industry.” AT&T’s full press release follows
below.

Only AT&T’s Network Lets Your iPhone 4S Download Twice as Fast

Upgrading and Preordering Easier Than Ever Before

Customers Can Enjoy Talk and Surf, Faster Speeds and Free Wi-Fi

DALLAS, Oct. 7, 2011 /PRNewswire/ â€" AT&T* today announced it will offer
iPhone 4S on Friday, October 14. Only AT&T’s network lets your iPhone
4S download twice as fast, as well as talk and surf at the same time.
iPhone 4S will be available for a suggested retail price of $199.99 for
the 16GB model,$299.99 for the 32GB model, and $399.99 for the 64GB
model. Customers can preorder iPhone 4S today. In addition, AT&T will
offer iPhone 4 at $99.99 for a new 8GB model.

AT&T is also the only U.S. carrier to offer iPhone 3GS â€" now available
for free online and in AT&T stores, with a two-year term commitment
plus voice and data plans, while supplies last.

iPhone 4S is the most amazing iPhone yet, packed with incredible new
features including Apple’s dual-core A5 chip for blazing fast
performance and stunning graphics; an all new camera with advanced
optics; full 1080p HD resolution video recording; and Siri, an
intelligent assistant that helps you get things done just by asking.
With the launch of iPhone 4S also comes the launch of iOS 5, the
world’s most advanced mobile operating system with over 200 new
features; and iCloud, a breakthrough set of free cloud services that
work with your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac or PC to automatically and
wirelessly store your content in iCloud and push it to all your devices.

“We can’t wait for our customers to experience the incredible new
iPhone 4S on our 4G network and enjoy download speeds of up to twice as
fast,” said Ralph de la Vega, president and CEO, AT&T Mobility and
Consumer Markets. “When you combine the nation’s fastest mobile
broadband network with iPhone 4S, as well as our new pricing for iPhone
3GS and iPhone 4, we think we have the best iPhone line up in the
industry.”

AT&T customers can easily check upgrade eligibility and preorder by
visiting www.att.com/phoneupgrade. New customers can visit
www.att.com/iphone. Preorders placed online will ship directly to the
customer’s home with delivery as early as October 14 â€" eliminating the
need to ever visit a store and wait in line.

“Our past experience with iPhone has taught us that speed is the name
of the game,” said de la Vega. “The faster we help our customers, the
better. The faster we ship their new device, the better. And â€" the
faster their network â€" even better.”

In addition to speed, AT&T iPhone customers benefit from several other
key advantages:

- The ability to talk and surf at the same time
- Access to AT&T’s entire national Wi-Fi network** â€" with nearly 27,000
hotspots
- Tiered data plans as low as $15
- Free calling to any wireless number in the United States with Mobile

Re: Sweeet just preordered my iPhone 4S

I finally got through but had to also call Apple to get it through. I tried ordering at 2a.m. CT when it was supposed to open but couldn't get through online until 3:30. After a couple of timeouts it finally accepted the reservation about 4 a.m. I got up this morning to find the e-mail link to complete the order, but the shipping address was to a former home and it wouldn't change it even after I changed it on my account. I finally got someone at Apple and she told me to go ahead and place the order with the wrong address and she would go in after the fact and change it. Apparently it has gone through and will be here Friday.

AT&T plans a ’4G upgrade’ for the iPhone in name only

Sent to you by Bill Boulware via Google Reader: AT&T plans a ’4G
upgrade’ for the iPhone in name only via 9to5Mac by Seth Weintraub on

.

Perhaps looking to differentiate its service from the other two US
carriers, AT&T is working with Apple to get a ’4G’ icon on the iPhone
4S when it hits its HSPA+ network according to the Verge.

The move would seem to try to further differentiate AT&T’s network
which is already significantly faster than Sprint or Verizon’s (and
theoretically double the iPhone 4 speed).

If you are in the US, which network will you be getting an iPhone 4S on?

Sudden Trouble Logging onto Yahoo Mail

Since last night at about 6:00 p.m., my iPhone (VerizonWireless) has not been able to log onto my Yahoo mail. It informs me my session has run out, but when I enter the password, it simply bounces back to the same "Your Session Has Run Out" error message.

Any suggestions/help greatly appreciated.

Thx. -Andy P.

Try to log in using a desktop. make sure your account has not become compromised.

Once you verify you can acces it via desktop with the right user info and PW. Then try to go back to troubleshooting the iPhone.

Since its yahoo, i would delete the account on the iPhone and then add it back.
