I have carried my credit card in the same pocket as my iPhone 3GS and have never had a problem.

Forgive me for asking again, but is it safe to carry your iPhone next to your credit card or electronic key fob in your pocket? I have the (bad?) habit of letting them touch each other all too frequently. I've only had one incident of the CC being demagg'ed.

It's still at $53, and they're sending me free shipping supplies. I'll take the $53!! That's half of what I paid for my 4.

If its release is the same time period as between the 4 and 4S, that will make it next Christmas maybe. And what if there never is a "5"? I'm happy with the 4S as it is, which is the most current model out.

With Gazelle, you have 30 days from the time you lock the price in they're willing to pay you. For example, I checked the price on my iPad 1 using the code twit (10% more when used). The quoted price was $425 for my wifi, 32G iPad with power cord. I took the price. The day I bought my iPad 2, I shipped off my iPad 1 to Gazelle. Good thing I locked in the price the week before because price went down by $100 the week after the iPad 2 came out. That 30 day lock in is great.

Just upgraded, still waiting for phone. Are there any good books or manuals that explain all the new features of the "4S"?

Thanks, Ron

I don't know how to get a link to post here but I did find a FREE iPhone 4s starter guide in the iBook store. In iBook, tap store, in the search f field type free iPhone 4s starter guide. Hope it helps.

i-phone, apple TV, airPort base station

Posted by: "Rasputin Novgorod" priapulus@yahoo.com   priapulus

Gentlemen:

I have a wired, 1 gb home network (not wireless) and
high speed internet connection. I have the newest iPhone
and a HDMI HD flat television, and Win7 PCs.

1) I'd like to use the internet with the phone, without
plugging into the computer or paying for cellular
(i.e. I need to add wireless to my wired network).
Will airPort Base station do that? Or perhaps buy a
"hot point" (recommendations?).

2) I'd like to get movies playing on my i-phone to show
on my TV. If I get an Apple TV, will it talk directly
to my phone and display on the TV? Or do I need
the above mentioned airPort or hotpoint?

3) I can play dozens
of movie formats with VLC
player on my PC. Will the iPhone and Apple TV
also play them; or will they only play a few proprietary
formats?

Sincerely
/blair

Are you saying to just download any random app and it will fix the app crashing problem?
