There are several blacklist apps in the App Store. Read the reviews because about half or more are crap.

If it was a business and not a company, and assuming it was not collections, Bruce mentioned the US Federal Do Not Call list, which is fairly toothless. But it won't work with individual jerks like you suggested. I wish Oregon had not dropped the state list as it had teeth, and was responsive.

I would suggest that you research some web based solution.

I did a Google search and came up with this link. Will work with the iPhone 4s although it makes reference to the iPhone 4 http://www.tipb.com/2010/06/25/switching-blackberry-iphone-4/

They, who?

Apple won't be of a conflict with your service contact, so it would be up to your service provider and what would be their benefit over selling you an new device and contract?

I had this, and the card slots were so tight, there was glue in the sides that frakked up 2 of my cc's and my ID had to be cut out of it.

I used the BookBook and it was cool, but no camera hole and was thick to fold back to use.

Candyshell card was the more functional of the lot.

Although not a card holder, I also got the Candyshell SATIN case from Speckproducts.com White or black 'Soft touch' surface. I got the white with red interior. Very nice.

AT&T is a good cell service for me. I've only had to talk to an in store rep a couple times. I don't like doing that. The stores near me don't know squat about iPhones. I have an Apple Store close enough I go to them. Thank goodness I've had no billing problems.

I saw a VZW 4G LTE phone talk and surf at the same time. Apparently the answer is in LTE.

What 4G?
There is no cellular service in the United States that meets the ITU's standard for 4G (100 megabits per second for highly mobile service, 1 gigabit per second for stationary service).

LTE-Advanced should do it, perhaps as early as 3Q2012.

Good answer, Donald :-) Not knowing the answer myself, I think you're right.

Apple push notifications email

Posted by: "Rodrigo" yid_grps@yahoo.com.br   yid_grps

Hi

I´m having a little trouble with my push Yahoo email notifications. I usually use IM+ to get my push email notifications but recently I also enabled push email from email app on the iphone 4 (4.3.3).

Since then, Im not able to login using IM+ anymore (it gives me a wrong login name/pass)

The login/pass is ok because I use the same account all the time. Just the push service on IM+ gives me the error and does not work.

I´ve disabled iphone email app from sending push or fetch any info, all manually now just like before and still IM+ cannot connect.

I installed the newer version of IM+ and still does not work. Seems that my login/pass is stuck at the Apple server and Yahoo does not allow other connection.

Does anyone has experienced this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards

Rod

Grand Central Apple Store officially open for business, celebrities,

Sent to you by Bill Boulware via Google Reader: Grand Central Apple
Store officially open for business, celebrities, [video] via 9to5Mac by
Jordan Kahn on 12/9/11

We've had a ton of coverage on what has become today Apple's new
flagship retail outlet. At 10am this morning, the 23,000 square foot
Grand Central Terminal store finally opened doors for business and big
crowds filled the concourse of the Terminal ahead of grand opening.
Apple is handing out 4,000 black T-shirts with "Apple Store, Grand
Central" graphic resembling a train arrival board, similar to that used
as a blockade prior to the opening.

Our Seth Weintraub went to film the store and you can see him in the
clip above getting out of the VIP elevator at the top, wearing a press
pass (more clips after the break). Also, make sure to check out the
below gallery, providing a glimpse of just how massive and breathtaking
this new store is. Mind you, just the perfect scene for one of
Samsung's adverts bashing line waiters.
See the first image in the slideshow? Yeah, that's actor Michael J.
Fox. Cool or what? We also have a Whoopi Goldberg showing and another
featuring Gary Allen (a guy with the beard) who runs ifoapplestore.com,
a site dedicated to Apple's retail strides. As you recall, a couples
days ago 9to5Mac got some shots from inside the store and Apple
confirmed the store would indeed be open from 7am to 9pm Monday to
Friday, 10am to 7pm Saturdays, and 11am to 6pm on Sundays. The store
has 315 employees, two genius bars, the new 15-minute Express Workshop
and also offers Personal Pickup, among other features.

Reports surfaced earlier this month that a possible state investigation
would look into the lease agreement between Apple and the Metro
Transportation Authority. The MTA quickly responded with all of the
intricacies of the agreement, which they referred to as the "best
possible deal" and note quadruples their rent and greatly increases
foot traffic to other retailers.

Production of Apple's 30-month-old iPhone 3GS to hit 2 million units

Sent to you by Bill Boulware via Google Reader: Production of Apple's
30-month-old iPhone 3GS to hit 2 million units in Q4 via BGR: The Three
Biggest Letters In Tech by Zach Epstein on 12/9/11

Apple's manufacturing partners are expected to build 2 million iPhone
3GS handsets in the fourth quarter. Thursday of this week marked
exactly two and a half years since Apple unveiled the iPhone 3GS during
its Worldwide Developer Conference in June 2009. Citing industry
sources within Apple's supply chain, DigiTimes on Friday reported that
production of Apple's iPhone 3GS has continued at high volumes that
should hit 2 million units in the December quarter. In the first
quarter of 2012, production of the iPhone 3GS will reportedly slow to
between 1.4 million and 1.6 million units. The same report also
suggests that production of Apple's CDMA iPhone 4 could top 1 million
units in the fourth quarter this year, slowing to between 500,000 and
600,000 units in the first quarter next year. In the United States,
Apple's iPhone 3GS is available for free on contract from AT&T while
the CDMA iPhone 4 is sold by both Verizon Wireless and Sprint.
