I know this has probably been asked before but I'll ask again.

Other than the front camera, what can th Touch 4G do that the 3G can't do ?

Faster ?
Better screen ?

I'm looking for a new iPod and am considering the 3G or 4G Touch.

Attached is a comparison chart of the 2nd Generation, 3rd Generation and the current 4th Generation iPod Touch - created with online tools at www.iEvery.com. The highlighted rows indicate differences between the models. The most overt difference between the models you are considering is the inclusion of a camera system on the 4th Gen version.

Thanks for the info.

I didn't realize the 3G and earlier, did not have a camera. I had thought they did.

Also the 4G has much higher resolution screen and longer battery life, so is claimed.
