Yeah, I love the feature on the Mac but I'd love it on my iPhone.
It used to be better on the Mac in a previous version of iPhoto.
The Map was a lot bigger and now it is tiny.
I wanted it as big as possible as it's such a great feature but Apple
rarely make things the way I want :(

On first look, this app looks fantastic. It seems to do what Apple left out.
Would be good to have 'StreetView'... Oh, they do, sort of. Not built in but
great nonetheless.
Thanks for the heads up

How do I unlock a locked iPhone? Restore?
Posted by: "Bill B." kernos@gmail.com kernos501
Tue Apr 10, 2012 5:25 am (PDT)
A friend brought me an iPhone which said it had been locked and had to be used with iTunes to unlock it, something alone those lines.
Is the only way to repair this problem doing a Restore from iTunes? Does she Have to do that on her iTunes or can I do it on my iTunes? What happens to the data that was on her phone?
Thanks

The great majority of iPhones sold in the USA are sold locked to a single carrier. That is their normal state. (And that is the normal meaning of the term when used with iPhones.) They work fine; they do not need to be unlocked, in normal usage of that term, to be used.
Current news is that ATT will unlock or allow unlocking for ATT iPhones that are now out of contract, so their owners can obtain a different SIM card and use them on a different cellular network.
If this is NOT what you mean, are you inquiring about an iPhone that has a PIN code locking it? And someone has lost their PIN and can't unlock? If so, that is a very different problem.
And if this is the problem, they had better have a recent backup, because it is unlikely they can fix this without wiping the iPhone clean.

You deleted the account and not mails, right? You would have folder named
notes.

You have deleted from phone and not the web. If you login into your account
from browser then you should be able to see the notes folder. If yes then
when you sync back you shall get all back. If you cannot find it there then
try all mails in your account. You would not get it as notes, you would
have to search for it,

Just add the account back on your iPhone.

Hi Bob,
I'm so glad that worked out for you. I don't really have a special email address or phone number for Apple but if you go to their website at apple.com, you can send them an email. Lots of people do think that we just don't want to make our app more compatible with the WMA format but it is not us. The publishers choose that format to be able to apply the digital rights protection to them. You can't download or transfer a WMA audiobook to an Android device. So, at least with iTunes, it can be done on an Apple device. And, there are many more WMA titles to choose from at the library than MP3. If you need anything else, just let me know.
