Scanner Pro captures the image of the document with the iPhone camera and processes this image to look like a scan from flatbed scanner. Smart image processing detects paper borders, crops unnecessary parts of the image, removes shadows, and saves the result as PDF file. Scans are stored locally on the iPhone and can be shared via email, uploaded to Dropbox and Evernote.

Scanner Pro 4 brings the scanning concept to the new iPad. Featuring 5 megapixel camera and high resolution retina display, the new iPad becomes an excellent tool to capture documents or receipts and go paperless. As of the first quarter of 2012, industry analysts noted that shipments of Macs and iPads exceeded for the first time those of legacy Windows vendors such as HP and Dell meaning that enterprise Apple integration, management and security are increasingly issues for IT executives. The use of two-factor security software such as ADmitMac PKI is mandated for the US Government in Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD-12) and one third of large corporations worldwide use similar smart cards to secure access to their own networks.

Enterprise-oriented ADmitMac PKI differs from Thursby's consumer-oriented PKard for Mac software (web and email security only) in offering full network logon and integration with Single Sign-On (SSO), Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Virtual Private Network (VPN), Microsoft Active Directory (AD), Microsoft Group Policy (GPO), Mac Work Group Manager (WgM) and network resources under Microsoft DFS and Microsoft SMB/CIFS. In the age of iOS photography, there are no cost considerations when shooting photos, and enthusiastic picture takers may snap hundreds of photos in an hour. Browsing through large numbers of photos one at a time is not a pleasant experience, but professionals have solved this problem by printing contact sheets containing many shots that are easily scanned by the viewer and from which it is convenient to select the best of
the group.

"Contact sheet" derives its name from the practice of professional photographers who would print strips of 35mm film, containing a series of still shots, by placing the strips directly on a sheet of photographic paper and exposing it briefly to light. When developed, the sheet displayed unenlarged, negative-sized thumbnails of each photo. While most professionals have migrated to filmless photography, the utility of the contact sheet, as a means of scanning groups of photos easily, remains.

Creating a contact sheet in the app is completely automatic. The user just touches any photo, whether in Saved Photos or Photo Library, or on a Roll, and the thumbnail appears on the contact sheet. From the Contact Sheet Maker settings dialog the user can select the following: Print Title of Photo: Yes/No; Print Page Number: Yes/No; Print Date and Time: Yes/No; Print Footer Text: Yes/No; Footer Text (empty text field); Contact Sheet Metadata: Author Name (empty text field); and Dropbox Account: Link/Unlink. The app includes seven different themes to customize the appearance of the contact sheet, including: Plain, Borders, Borders & Captions, Filmstrip, Single Frame, Vintage, and Pins. There is no time limit, its hard enough without one.

Tiles are tapped to flip them over in order to lock a word in place, before tapping the submit button. Rows and columns containing locked tiles can't be moved, so its as much a puzzle as a word game. Finding multiple words in one go is a logical challenge as well as a linguistic one.

Once a word is submitted, those tiles go blank, so their are an ever decreasing number of tiles to achieve the target score for that level. If the level can't be complete the panic button can be pressed which turns five random blank tiles back into letters. Panics can be earned by scoring bonuses.

Worzled has over 40 levels and Worzled XL over 100 so panics need to earned or the game can't be completed. If the level can't be completed then the Worzled button can be pressed, this resets the level.

It's been a good six months for CB Labs, the small indie developer firm who put out their first game The Adventures of Timmy: Run, Kitty, Run last October. Currently, CB Labs is partnered with DoSomething.org to help raise awareness on teen bullying in schools.

Sacramento, California - It's been a good six months for CB Labs, the small indie developer firm who put out their first game The Adventures of Timmy: Run, Kitty, Run last October. Since their release the game has seen a lot of success, with ratings in the App Store consistently in the 4.5 stars range (out of 5) and being nominated for a plethora of different awards.

"It's been a whirlwind," said Crossborders Creative Director, Adam Kahn. "We love all the success we've gotten from the game and our hope is that more people can pick up the game and love it as much as we do."

The game itself tells the tale of a young school boy named Timmy who wears a cat suit to school one day. While all the other kids on the playground make fun of Timmy, one girl named Kitty tries to befriend him. Unfortunately, Mitch, the school's bully, has already taken a liking to Kitty and kidnaps her. Timmy must find a way to stop Mitch and his minions and get Kitty back safe and sound.

Currently, CB Labs is partnered with DoSomething.org to help raise awareness on teen bullying in schools. The goal is to get teens to fill out a short survey on Facebook, whose results will be shared at the school, district, and state level. In addition the game itself has been updated to include anti-bullying tips, and is currently free to download for the duration of the campaign.

In this update there are five adorable puppies whom Anya plays with and takes care of. Users will be able to feed the puppies, make them do tricks: fetch, crawl, stand, shake, dance. They can also feed, cuddle and pet the Puppies. With this update the 3D engine has been enhanced to support multiple 3D characters in realtime.

Talking Anya & her new pet puppies is now available in the App Store as a Free Universal app for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Anya is a cute little girl who dances, sings and plays interactive games like twirl the hula hoop, pop the bubbles, play the maracas, catch the flowers and engage in snowball fights. She repeats what you say. You can even dress her up in one of dozens of dresses, change her hair or eye color, or just tickle her.

A unique feature of the app is that it brings real time collaborative game play between users in a LAN environment or via bluetooth. Kids and parents can spend countless hours playing with each other, from their own devices, games like toss the ball and throw snow balls, The ball actually goes from one device to another making this a fun realistic experience for the players. Furthermore they can compete for high scores when playing the other interactive games together, such as pop the bubbles, catch the flowers in a basket and twirl the hula hoop.

Talking Anya is the first of its kind app, with real time 3D interactive character animation as opposed to sprite based animation that other similar apps are based on. This provides superior functionality, like interactive game play and on-the-fly dynamic customization and modifications to the character which a pre-generated sprite based technology cannot support. As an example, users can change the textures on the model, in this case the girl's clothes and she can perform the same set of actions in different dresses, something which would not have been possible with traditional methods.

This app uses the accelerometer creatively, a user can make Anya twirl the hoop if the he/she moves the phone in circles, stop and she drops the hoop. It is loaded with interactive play, she blows the bubbles and the user can pop them with a tap or pop multiple bubble with simultaneous taps, tap her feet and she will dance, tap her nose and she makes a funny face, she is quite emotional too, just like all little girls! Making her definitely a fun to play with app.

GuardCam does not work in the background. Users must first run the app, enable it, and then lock the iPhone by pushing the Wake/Sleep button. The app is now armed and will take a photo of the first person that unlocks the iPhone. The surveillance photo is saved to an in-app Photo Library that can be password protected. The person unlocking the phone will see a neutral message on a black screen. Tapping twice returns the user to normal operation.
