Unlike other drawing and painting apps available on the App Store, even providing realistic and responsive painting tools, Drawing Box doesn't make the same artistic approach of painting on a digital tablet.

All editions of DEVONthink got a new Activity panel listing background processes. The update of DEVONthink Pro Office to version 2.3.4 works around problems of eastern European languages with PDFKit, adds support for all editions of the ExactScan scan software, and much more.

Coeur d'Alene, Idaho - All editions of DEVONthink got a new Activity panel listing background processes, e.g. updating of news feeds or downloading web pages added from the Clip to DEVONthink browser extension. For DEVONthink Pro Office this replaces the OCR Activity panel. In addition it's now possible to create URLs linking not only to a movie file but also directly to the actual frame. Finally, DEVONthink and DEVONnote 2.3.4 optionally show aliases (alternate document names used by tagging and internal Wiki-style links) in document lists, improves creating new documents in the Tags view, and shows the number of items in a group more subtly behind the group name. This all is rounded off with the usual minor enhancements and bug fixes.

The update of DEVONthink Pro Office to version 2.3.4 works around problems of eastern European languages with PDFKit (the technology in OS X responsible for displaying and editing PDF files), adds support for all editions of the ExactScan scan software, and improves combining imported email messages to threads. Scans sent to DEVONthink Pro Office from ExactScan 2 are recognized and converted to searchable PDFs.

DEVONthink Pro and Pro Office 2.3.4 come with a new script for importing email messages and their attachments, support categories of Atom feeds, import .csv files with a varying number of columns, and open multiple databases more elegantly. Contrary to the email import function of DEVONthink Pro Office the new email import script is also available for the Pro edition and saves messages as .eml documents and their attachments as separate files. The updated Del.icio.us script no longer uses keychain scripting, which has been discontinued with OS X 10.7 Lion, and sets the thumbnail icons of the created groups again. We have also improved encoding support for email messages imported with the included scripts, Automator support, and handling of news feeds missing dates.

Public-Key Cryptography, created in the 1970s, is a matched-pair encryption/decryption standard. Using this method, the sender and recipient share public encryption keys, thereby establishing a relationship of trust. After that occurs, files can be encrypted by one and decrypted by the other without using passwords. While Public-Key Cryptography can use a variety of levels of security, DropKey uses the 256-bit method, a well-established industry standard.

The PKard solution lets people access web portals, collaboration sites and email directly from their iPads and iPhones with secure authentication to their personal smart cards. For example, a US military reservist can access educational or training materials on secure sites from his or her own iPad or iPhone. Security is maintained at all times whether playing music, or switching from app to app, preserving the Apple user experience. Importantly, no changes need to be requested for back-end servers making the solution easy to install for both individuals and organizations.

The game's introductory sequence reveals sheep escaping while a dog has dozed off.
