Nacogdoches, Texas - Dr. Michael Roach, a former university professor and the creator of several apps and ebooks guiding users through Photoshop, has announced the release of "Adobe Photoshop CS6: A Tutorial for Beginners." The new release, which will be available exclusively for iBooks, provides an updated version of the tutorial for users who wish to learn about using Photoshop CS6, the latest version of the program from Adobe.
"Photoshop CS6 is packed with many new and exciting features, and this updated guide will help you master them in a fun ," said Dr. Roach. "We are very pleased to release this version of our tutorial, as it will help more people across the country learn what it takes to become Photoshop pros."
Roach, who taught photography at Stephen F. Austin University for 33 years, decided to create his Photoshop tutorials to give users an easy way to learn the program and its various tools. Deciding that retirement wasn't going to stop him from teaching, Roach found a way to reach thousands of students without leaving the comfort of his home.

Since his retirement in 2000, Dr. Roach has taught a number of Photoshop classes throughout the state, and has constantly stayed up-to-date with the latest versions of the program. Using his emphasis on the psychology of learning, he developed the visual tutorial to help beginners learn the core of Photoshop as quickly and effectively as possible.

Gameplay involves touching left or right-facing arrows on the lower left of the screen, and tapping on the right side of the screen to jump or double jump. Players can move Fuji left and right by rolling him across a surface or jumping and moving simultaneously. In each of the 5 worlds, all platforms are natural objects native to the environment. In the Dash Mode players simply tap anywhere on the screen to jump and when Super Drappela slows time they will need to tap all of the enemies before the timer runs out.
Fuji can transform into one of the legendary Apple Avengers through power-ups. They include: Blossom, Bravo, Count Drappela, Frost, Lightning, Super Drappela, and Tombstone. Each has their own unique appearance and abilities, including spiked protuberances for crushing and propeller-head stems for flight. Players face more than 20 enemies and 5 epic boss fights. Enemies all have different fighting styles, including Chef Worms, Fighter Pilot Worms, Elf Worms, Fire Worms, Ghost Worms, Flying Chainsaws, and more.

Other options include: Draggable Cursor, Left, Right, and L+R modes when stereo input is used. Vertical scroll is used to adjust the dB scale offset (visible range).
* FFT Plot (Fast Fourier Transform) - plots real-time raw spectrum graph. It is useful for detailed analysis and isolating particular frequencies. Options include FFT Size, Averaging Mode, Logarithmic or Linear Frequency Scale, and FFT Window function (Hamming, Blackman, or Rectangular). Again, Cursors, Peak Tracking, and dB offset are supported, as well as input channel selection.
* Spectrograph - plots Frequency over Time Spectrograms of surrounding sounds, music, etc. It can be used to reveal images "hidden" in sound. Options include Decade or Linear Scale, Speed, and Gain adjustment. Several Color Palettes are available suiting different applications.
