Does the built-in Weather app not do this?

Weather bug has just redesigned the look of the app. It's just what you are looking for.

Will it stay on all night and update during the night?

And Dropbox for iOS also allows you to send the PDF to iBooks.

Thanks. Yup, I checked compilations, and there they were. So now the question is, how can I move them from compilations to the main library so that they will show up when I search by artist? This is an issue only in the iPhone, not in iTunes in my computer. TIA.

Thanks. The problem exists only when trying to find the songs in my iPhone, not in the iTunes application in my computer.

In iTunes select the whole album, then press the application key and then
select Get Info
Tab to Album Artist and put the album artist in.
This will then move the album under the artists name.

iTunes confusion
Posted by: "Paul Deyo" paul.deyo@gmail.com crewcheef

Hello group,
I have both an iPhone 4 and an iPad2. Both at the latest version of iOS. Also I have the latest version of iTunes on my Mac. My confusion is that in iTunes there are 3 types of Apps; iPhone only, iPad only and both. If I purchase or download a "both" app will it automagically install on both phone and iPad? If I buy or download an "only" app will it install only on the unit that is written for? Or do I need to download it twice; once for each unit?
Thanks

Hi Paul,
I have the iPhone and 2 iPads ) mine and hubbys). Yes you download once and the app will install on one or any of the devices it can. Some only go to phone, some to iPad and others to all.

It has been my experience that the apps will only install on the devices
they are intended for, so if you download an "only" app, it will only
install on that device. If it will do both, it will install on both
automatically on your next sync. One thing I have noticed on some pay
apps, if you buy it, the app may install on both, but will only activate on
one device. You'll need to buy it twice if you want it on both devices.

I have done pay apps and I have found they will work on all devices. If you try to buy it again, it will say already purchased.

I really like it. It only takes a few seconds for the track you choose to download and play. My entire 400+GB music collection is there waiting for me.

I use it as well and overall I'm happy with it. There are still some bugs
in the system though. I would recommend making a backup of your iTunes
library before you get it and start updating songs matched from the cloud.
Pros
- Access to my whole library on my phone.
- I can download a higher bit rate version for my older songs without
having to re-import cds. That's a great time saver because my collection
goes back to '98 when hard drives were a lot smaller and subsequently my
bit rates as well.
Cons
- When downloading songs from iTunes Match that have explicit content you
might get the clean version. Apple is supposed to be working on this.
- Not all of my songs matched and my old lower bit rate version would be
uploaded to the cloud. Sometimes there would be just one track out of an
album that wouldn't match. I even tried deleting the album from iTunes and
the cloud and then ripping the cd again. This produced the same result.
- The play count isn't always updated correctly and some plays don't get
counted. On my computer if I manually run "Update iTunes Match" it works
better.
Hope that helps.

That was exactly the procedure I followed, but thanks for repeating it for people that haven't done it. Following that procedure to the letter will get you 90% of the way to where you want to be. But as I explained, the procedure isn't perfect, and will leave you with some differences between your old phone and your new.
I forgot to mention - when I upgraded my daughter from the 4 to the 4S, following the procedure above to the letter, it lost most of her text message archive and a lot of her contacts. Granted - she had a massive archive of texts, and a lot of contacts. But she had not exceeded the memory of either device.
Losing most of her archived texts made her pretty P.O.'d. Fortunately, I had the foresight to archive them with third party software, and eventually was able to restore them. But it was a mess initially. Even the latest and greatest iTunes and IOS have a ways to go before the backup / restore function is 100% foolproof. It won't be foolproof until the contents of the new phone are completely identical to the contents of the old phone after the backup / restore procedure.

The basic international calling plan has no monthly charges and you pay normal per minute charges. They have set it up that way because most people don't call overseas and over a decade ago when intl rates were really expensive that was where most fraud occurred when phones were stolen.
