Access iOS 5′s Notification Center from your lock screen with Bulletin

Posted: 11 Feb 2012 02:30 PM PST

One of my favorite features about IntelliscreenX is the fact that you can access your notification center from your lock screen. I don’t use the popular tweak anymore, it was too much for me. And that’s really the only element I miss.

Forget iPhoto, save all of your Photo Stream photos to a folder on OS X

Posted: 11 Feb 2012 06:00 AM PST

One of my favorite components of iCloud is Photo Stream. I love having instant access to all of my photos on both my iPhone and iPad. Having instant access to my photos on my laptop is awesome too, but there is one major caveat.

You see, to access your Photo Stream photos on your Mac computer, you have to go through iPhoto — which I hate. It takes forever to load and the UI is terrible. Luckily, I’ve just come across a software-free way to access my Photo Stream photos on my computer…(...)

SwipeShiftCaret: Move your cursor a single character by swiping

Posted: 10 Feb 2012 09:10 PM PST

Don’t you just hate it when you need to position your character in a specific spot, but you can’t accurately do so due to the iPhone’s lack of single character movement? I think we’ve all been there.

Fortunately, SwipeShiftCaret solves that issue by allowing you to swipe your finger on the screen to move a character space either left or right.

It’s an extremely simple tweak with no settings, but it makes editing on an iOS device so much more intuitive…(...)
