It was a not very subtle attempt at humor; which fell flat. It really
had nothing to do with a bridge [which is the device on a guitar body
where the string vibration is damped] other than that.
As for the center of the Universe: It is equally valid to say there is
no center, or that every point is the center; it depends upon the
definition of "center" that you've chosen to run with. In any event in
no case is there a unique center of the Universe.

You people are very dense. You know what a bridge is right? Its those things that are built over water so you can cross over. Got it? What do you do when you encounter a bridge? You go over it. Hence, build a bridge and get over it. In other words, let it go, deal with it. Sheesh.

Geez. Is this so important that people must keep this thread alive?
Surely there are real issues that can be addressed? LOL

You people are very dense. You know what a bridge is right?
===================== ========= =====
there are apparently several kinds of bridges, not just the kind you
mention.
and I didn't "get" the joke OP made about building one, that's all.

A news item on tv today reminds me of a question I have.
Many areas are npow setting up the reverse 9-1-1 system where the
emergency services people can send out mass alerts. This has been
expanded to other forms of communications, such as emails, text messages
and so on.
I am curious to mnow if there is a way to set up the iPod Touch so that
one would know for a fact that such an alert came in.
