picky picky!
"iTouch" is a common-use term (jargon/slang/endearment) for an iPod Touch
and I'm sure you know it.
I have apps that won't load on my iTouch 2nd gen & iTunes tells me so during
the sync process -- apps that require a later version iOS than the Touch2
can use. T2 is still plenty useful though.

The first generation iPod Touch (no such thing as an iTouch) is obsolete and
many of the newer apps won't work on it.

Actually, no, it isn't. I guess it all depends if you want to be taken
seriously, or if you want to be laughed at.
There is no such thing as an "iTouch". Build a bridge and get over it.

I guess you're just a purist or something.
Don't you use nicknames for anything?
I don't know where (or if) you hang out but I've heard iTouch plenty in
various groups & settings. Will continue to do so; it makes for an easy
differentiation between various iDevices/iToys.
Even the Apple people don't bat an eye when I use the term, let alone look
horrified, offended, or about to laugh their heads off at the idiot old
lady.
Not sure what you mean by a bridge.
But then, I still occasionally say "ice box" when I mean "refrigerator",
though more commonly I call it a "fridge".

Why so serious? I use the term "itouch" more often then Ipod touch. As
long as the person you are talking to knows what you mean when you are
using "said" terms, then by all means, go for it. If you dont know, ask. "A
closed mouth dont get fed."
Its not like we are all here to be "professional." We are here just to ask
questions and get help.

This was the comment. I'm not sure I know what was
meant by it. Apparently the woman it was aimed at
doesn't know either.

Vdub for the Volkswagen Beetle.
I also understand the reference to bridge. LOL Now perhaps we can get
back to learning more about our Itouches. Maybe some of us are touched
in the head, its ok! ;)
