Touching the app's icon immediately launches the familiar iPhone virtual camera iris. A timer counts down 3-2-1, the iris opens, and video recording automatically begins. The user can tap on the shot button to stop it and start recording immediately. Launching the camera, choosing the front or rear camera, switching from stills to video, and starting the recording process are all bypassed with a single tap on the 1TapVideo icon. Users do not need to remember to start recording. A bell sounds and a red dot lights when recording begins automatically, and two bells sound and the red light goes out when the user stops recording. If the user is finished recording, the app also offers quick-stop; touching the iPhone Home button quits the app, while video is saved in the background.

There are three easy ways to use it: you can use whichever one you prefer, or all three as desired.

* The System Menu: BlogAssist adds a small menu to the right-hand side of the menubar in all applications. You can simply select and copy some text into the clipboard, choose a suitable operation from the menu, then paste the result in the desired location. The text will have been transformed like magic. For example, copying hey and choosing Bold will result in hey - the HTML tags for boldface text, wrapped around the original text.

* The Services Menu: BlogAssist also appears in the Services menu, available in most applications. This is really easy to use: just select some text and hit Cmd-< to display a small panel. Simply choose an operation and click OK to drop the marked up text back into your document. The previously copied text also appears in the panel; useful for operations like Web Link that use two values. Copy a URL, select text to use as the link label, hit Cmd-< and choose the operation, then click OK, and you have a web link nicely formatted and inserted.

* The Floating Window: This is similar to the Services menu panel, but can be left open as long as you like. It floats above all other windows, alwaywa available. It can be hidden and shown via the BlogAssist system menu. With the floating window displayed, you simply drag text to one or both of its Value fields, choose an operation from the included pop-up menu, then drag the formatted HTML from the Result field. Like the Services panel, this window includes a convenient preview of how the HTML will be rendered in a web page.

BlogAssist comes with several useful operations, including web and e-mail links, bold/italics/strikethrough/etc, LiveJournal tags, and more. But you aren't limited to those - you can add, change, or remove them via the Operations Preferences.

This release includes minor improvements. It also has a price reduction, and now requires Leopard as a minimum OS version.

Also similarly updated are the other iNutrient apps: iCals, iCarbs, iCholesterol, iFiber, iSatFat, iSugars, and Vitamin K.

The iProteins app provides information about foods and how they are rated for protein content. This is given as a means to assist in deciding which foods to eat. In addition to being useful for Vegans and Vegetarians, who want to make sure they take in a sufficient amount of protein, iProteins will also help bodybuilders get the high intake of proteins they want. The following colors help readily identify which is which:

* Black = Rated extremely high in Proteins (30.01 - 51.89 g)
* Dark Red = Rated very high in Proteins (20.01 - 30.00 g)
* Red = Rated high in Proteins (15.01 - 20.00 g)
* Orange = Rated moderately high in Proteins (12.01 - 15.00 g)
* Yellow = Rated moderate in Proteins (9.01 - 12.00 g)
* Light Green = Rated moderately low in Proteins (6.01 - 9.00 g)
* Green = Rated low in Proteins (3.01 - 6.00 g)
* Cyan = Rated very low in Proteins (0.01 - 3.00 g)
* White = Rated extremely low in Proteins (less than 0.01 g)

There are eight tables listing foods:

There are currently over 1,100 different food servings included, searchable using approximately 2,500 names (some foods are known by different names or how they are prepared, e.g., "Egg, Scrambled" and "Scrambled Egg"). Storage of the Life Inventory data is done using an underlying database which can be backed up and restored as necessary.

Disclaimer - This app is neither officially produced nor approved by Alcoholics Anonymous or any other Addiction Recovery program. From what is known there have been many Moral Inventory spreadsheets circulating unofficially among AA members for at least 50 years in various versions and this app is based on one the developer found to be useful and more comprehensive than most.

Many thanks to "George" and his "Dungeon Prison Complete" spreadsheet which has been used as the outline for this app. This spreadsheet was developed based on years of his own personal research of the AA Big Book, along with help from many others who had already gone through the process of completing their own Moral Inventories. This was done in order to more fully understand the concepts necessary for completing his own Moral Inventory. George's extensive research resulted in the creation of the "Dungeon Prison Complete" spreadsheet, a detailed set of instructions on how to create a Moral Inventory, including several new concepts not directly covered in the AA Big Book: Sources of Anxiety/Excitement as a 4th Category; and a set of Sex Relations exercises. Both of these new elements were discovered to be critical in eventually understanding why we do what we do, the end result of completing your own Moral Inventory.

Anyone, Not Just 12-Steppers, Can Benefit from Completing a Life Inventory:

The process of completing a Life Inventory doesn't directly address addictions specifically, but rather helps the user examine in detail events that have transpired in their life. The Life Inventory app gently assists the user in probing into not only what happened, but also why it happened. The questions asked help the user delve into areas often never considered before like:

* What did I want?
* Why did I want it?
* What am I not admitting?
* What lie did I tell myself? (always present)
* What did I leave out or not say?
* What lie did I tell others?
* Have I ever done the same thing?

AppDelete Lite is a must-have utility for beta testers and the perfect companion to any Mac fanatic's toolbox.

Anaheim, California - Independent software developer Reggie Ashworth today is pleased to announce the release and immediate availability of AppDelete Lite 3.2.3, an update to his very popular application deletion utility for Mac OS X available via the Mac App Store. With a simple Drag & Drop, AppDelete Lite will uninstall anything along with all of the associated items. Mac users will no longer have to hunt through their system to find and delete these items manually.

You can drag any item that can be uninstalled onto AppDelete Lite: Applications, Widgets, Preference Panes, Plugins, Screensavers, etc. You can also activate AppDelete Lite in many ways: dragging items onto main window, onto dock icon, selecting in menu, dragging from Launchpad, and throwing items in the trash. When the preview screen appears you can uncheck any items you would like to exclude.

You also have several choices: delete the items, log only the items, or archive (copy) the items to a .zip file for safekeeping or reinstall at a later date. The items you delete will be moved to the trash and arranged in a folder so that you can see exactly what was deleted and you know exactly where it came from. The items will not be removed from your computer until you empty them from your trash. Note: items requiring an administrator password must be deleted manually to comply with App Store guidelines, but this can be done quickly by clicking the pathname links in the AppDelete Lite Info panel, revealing in Finder, and moving them to the trash.

Version 3 has been rewritten and redesigned to take advantage of the latest technologies and to provide the best experience ever. Version 3.2.3 now has a preference to quit AppDelete Lite when clicking the red close button, a default Archives folder for archiving, and can filter by Kind (for example Intel or PowerPC). Also, an issue was fixed where trash with excessive files could slow down AppDelete Lite, along with overall trash monitoring improvements including handling updates. Finally, a bug was fixed in panel filtering, there were minor localization edits to Help files, and minor memory improvements.
