The challenge of these educational games is for the child to find the Mother's pup and bring it home to her. These games for kids stands out from the rest of the games for toddlers in that it can give hours of fun for a young child and can also provide a much needed rest for parents. This is because a child can play these, iPad games or iPhone games on their own. Illuminate also provides extensive and customizable shortcuts, so everything can be done via the keyboard. Free for existing customers, the 1.1 update adds support for Safari tabs, sports user interface improvements, integrated help, and stability improvements.

Castro Valley, California - Fortunate Bear today is pleased to announce Illuminate 1.1, an intuitive window switcher for Mac OS X. The 1.1 update adds support for Safari tabs, sports user interface improvements, integrated help, and stability improvements. The update is free for existing customers, $9.99 for new customers, and is available from Fortunate Bear's online store or Apple's Mac App Store.

Illuminate 1.1 adds the ability to cycle through Apple Safari tabs in addition to windows. This includes an explicit Cycle Tabs feature, as well as tab integration into the existing Cycle Windows and Quick Switch features. By invoking Cycle Tabs while a Safari window is frontmost, the user can quickly switch to another tab with just a few keystrokes. All tab titles for the window are listed vertically and repeatedly pressing the keyboard shortcut moves in between them. Choosing Cycle All Tabs allows the user to cycle through all Safari tabs that are currently open.

Safari tab functionality has also been added to the Cycle Windows feature. When cycling through Safari windows, the tabs are listed below the window thumbnail. The tabs can be navigated with the arrow keys and selected by letting up on the keyboard shortcut modifiers or by pressing return. Similarly, Safari tabs have been integrated into the Quick Switch feature. When typing a title into the Quick Switch search field, tabs which match will also appear.

The 1.1 update also provides an easier way to find and use the preferences. Illuminate has been split into a foreground application the shows up in the Dock and provides the preferences UI, and a background application that performs all window switching tasks. The new foreground application means the preferences won't get lost behind other windows, and the user can always launch it or click on the Dock icon to get to it. Additionally, the foreground application adds a complete help file explaining how to use all of Illuminate's features.

The new update also improves application stability. All private APIs have been removed, resulting a codebase that relies only on tested and fully support APIs. These changes also have allowed Illuminate to submitted to Apple's Mac App Store.

Art lovers may browse the immense collection by Century (thumbnail mosaic of every work) or by Artist (alphabetical listing). Users may download HD versions of any work, or receive ultra high-resolution files of any painting via email, both at no additional cost. Artists whose work appears in the collection include: Rembrandt, Raphael, Van Gogh, Claude Monet, Paul Cezanne, Paul Gauguin, Sandro Botticelli, Michelangelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, Pablo Picasso, and many more.

National Gallery, London launches in either portrait or landscape mode. At the top of the screen is a blank text field for search entries, and at the bottom of the screen are two buttons: By Century and By Name. The first brings up a scrollable radio button list of six different centuries, each with a sample painting. The second of the two mode buttons, By Name, brings up a scrolling list of artist's names with a quick access thumb index along the right margin. More than 500 different artists are listed, along with the number of their works that are included in the collection.

In both By Century and By Name modes, there is an intelligent search field. For example, entering the search term "Saint Jerome" brings up the names and thumbnails of 10 paintings. Entering "Saint J" returns more than 30 different paintings whose title fulfills the search requirements. As mentioned, there are hideable navigational arrows at the bottom of full screen images, allowing the user to incrementally move forward or backward, one painting at a time; and horizontal scrolling can also be performed by swiping.

National Gallery, London has an extensive set of features for sharing, favorites, and obtaining HD and ultra-high resolution copies of each work. The app includes integrated email, Facebook, and Vkontakte (the popular Facebook clone serving Russia, Belarus, the Ukraine, etc.) connectivity for sharing paintings. Users may download HD versions (approximately 2,000 x 700 pixels) of any painting directly from the Evolution Apps server at no charge. Also available by email are ultra-high resolution files (approximately 6,500 x 3,100 pixels), again, at no cost. These larger files, intended for personal use only, are appropriate for the iPad display, close study of small areas of a painting, fine art printing, etc.

The Vitamin K app allows users to easily find out how much vitamin K there is in over 900 different foods which is critical in helping keep the effectiveness of their blood thinning medications working properly. The new version is updated for iOS 5.

Version 3.0 is now designed to take advantage of the full screen when run on the iPad.

New to all 8 iNutrient apps (iCals, iCarbs, iCholesterol, iFiber, iProteins, iSatFat, iSugars and Vitamin K) is the capability to record Custom Serving Sizes from 1 to 500 grams in 0.1 gram increments. Users can easily adjust the amounts while viewing the weight in not only grams, but also kilograms, ounces and pounds. In addition to immediate weight updates as you change the number of grams, the nutrient content and calories get updated also. This makes it easy to record the exact serving size you're looking for based on any of the variables: 9 for Vitamin K, 6 for iCals, and 7 for each of the others.

Startup times for all of the 8 iNutrient apps is now considerably faster than before.

If you take blood thinning medications like Coumadin(R) or Warfarin (also known as Jantoven, Marfarin, Lawarin, Waran and Marevan), then this is an app you will truly make use of on a regular basis. Most lists providing information on the content of vitamin K (K1, K1D & K2) in foods generally contain only a limited number of foods, and often they don't indicate the serving size. It is important to understand that the goal isn't to not eat any foods with vitamin K, but rather to keep relatively constant the amount of vitamin K ingested each day so the amount of Coumadin(R) prescribed can work effectively. This can be different for every person using blood thinning medications, and this is why doctors require occasional blood tests as they indicate if the dosage needs to be adjusted.

All too often we hear that you should stay away from dark green leafy vegetables if you are using Coumadin(R), but there are a host of other foods containing vitamin K. Even the dark green leafy vegetables contain varying amounts of vitamin K. Further, each food has its own characteristics and sometimes whether it is fresh, frozen or canned can make a difference in the vitamin K content. The important thing to understand is you may be inadvertently ingesting something which you think doesn't contain any vitamin K when in fact it does. A good example would be carrots which contain varying amounts of vitamin K. A single baby carrot has only 0.9 mcg (very low) while a cup of canned carrot juice contains 36.6 mcg (high).

The Vitamin K app provides information about foods and how they are rated for Vitamin K content based on preparation and serving sizes. This is provided as a means to assist in deciding which foods to eat if you are using blood thinning medications such as Coumadin(R) or Warfarin. The foods are rated from EXTREMELY LOW to EXTREMELY HIGH in Vitamin K. The following colors help readily identify which is which:

* Black = Rated EXTREMELY HIGH in Vitamin K (700.0 - 1146.6 mcg)
* Dark Red = Rated VERY HIGH in Vitamin K (300.0 - 699.9 mcg)
* Red = Rated HIGH in Vitamin K (25.0 - 299.9 mcg)
* Orange = Rated MODERATELY HIGH in Vitamin K (20.0 - 24.9 mcg)
* Yellow = Rated MODERATE in Vitamin K (15.0 - 19.9 mcg)
* Yellow-Green = Rated MODERATELY LOW in Vitamin K (10.0 - 14.9 mcg)
* Green = Rated LOW in Vitamin K (5.0 - 9.0 mcg)
* Cyan = Rated VERY LOW in Vitamin K (0.1 - 4.9 mcg)
* White = Rated EXTREMELY LOW in Vitamin K (less than 0.1 mcg)

There are eight tables listing foods:
* All Foods

* Fruits & Vegetables
* Meat, Fish & Shellfish
* Dairy & Egg
* Cereal Grains & Pasta
* Sweets
* Snacks

The All Foods table includes a search capability to quickly find food servings you are interested in.
