Despite this simplicity, hitting the high scores is not always quite so easy. Big scores are determined by having time and 'deck cards' left at the end of each round. Each consecutive round gives the player less and less time to clear the pyramids - so it can get quite tricky.

The player is free to experience the app as just a cute, casual game in the endless mode. Or they can play through the story mode where they can meet likeable characters and unlock in-game achievements which will explain some facts about the importance of bees to human societies.

Colony Collapse Disorder is a real world phenomenon and is killing honey bees worldwide. Through the course of the story mode players can learn about some of the factors which are believed to contribute to the problem. There are also additional web links for each category so anyone who becomes interested in bee life can find out more.

When developing Honey Tribe: Colony Collapse the developers, Shaz Yousaf and Guy Jones, asked the question 'Can games be more than entertainment?' If the answer is yes then they concluded the best way to do this is to allow the player to choose to explore any factual content or to ignore it completely. It can' be forced on the player but be something enjoyable that feels like a natural part of the game.

One example of this in the game is the dandelion seeds. They float by (sometimes quite fast!) in the story mode and if enough are collected then the player is rewarded with the dandelion 'badge' on the hive screen. This can then be pressed to unlock a short fact and also has a web link to additional content. So the player is rewarded for in-game skill with factual information that ties in to the graphical and story elements of the level.

As more families are using iPads and tablet devices daily instead of desktops and laptops Honey Tribe Studios hope that Honey Tribe: Colony Collapse can provide both an enjoyable, entertaining experience but also stimulate people into learning something that may be new to them.

Anaheim, California - Independent software developer Reggie Ashworth today is proud to announce the release and immediate availability of AppDelete 3.2.5, an update to his very popular application deletion utility for Mac OS X. With a simple Drag & Drop, AppDelete will uninstall anything along with all of the associated items. Mac users will no longer have to hunt through their system to find and delete these items manually.

You can drag any item that can be uninstalled onto AppDelete: Applications, Widgets, Preference Panes, Plugins, Screensavers, etc. You can also activate AppDelete in many ways: dragging items onto main window, onto dock icon, selecting in menu, right-clicking using AppDelete workflow, dragging from Launchpad, and throwing items in the trash. When the preview screen appears you can uncheck any items you would like to exclude.

You also have several choices: delete the items, log only the items, or archive (copy) the items to a .zip file for safekeeping or reinstall at a later date. The items you delete will be moved to the trash and arranged in a folder so that you can see exactly what was deleted and you know exactly where it came from. The items will not be removed from your computer until you empty them from your trash. You can also undo the last delete if you choose.

Version 3 has been rewritten and redesigned to take advantage of the latest technologies and to provide the best experience ever. Version 3.2.5 adds Czech localization for the first time, and is now signed with an Apple Developer ID which will come in use when 10.8 (Mountain Lion) is released.

New in Version 3.2:
* Optimized for Lion (still backwards compatible with Snow Leopard/Leopard)
