This is an awesome game. We have very high expectations says Patrick Larson, of Happi Papi. Our first two games, Happi Spells and Happi Reads, have both been featured by Apple themselves which is the highest honor for an app developer. Happi 123 is, according to Patrick, better looking, has a broader scope and tons of more features.
With Happi 123 we have tried to create something that parents and kids will love to play as well as something that teachers can use as part of their digital lesson plan, says Jens Ode, co-founder of Happi Papi. After our first two apps we found out that a lot of schools were using our apps. Keeping these teachers in mind when we designed Happi 123 is our way of saying thank you, continues Jens.
To further cement its relationship with teachers, Happi Papi has also started an evaluation program for schools where they can test all its new apps for free with no obligations. Happi Papi wants to build on the initial interest from educators and bring them aboard as a panel for its future development plans.
We want to make smarter apps that are even more fun and engaging to use. Teachers are the perfect sounding board to help us with that. Smarter apps help develop smarter children. Now we are just hoping that all the parents and schools out there are smart enough to buy our apps concludes Jens Ode with a chuckle.

New Trip Photos iOS App Enhances How Users Capture, Tag N Share Photos - Published on 03/15/12
IMMEDIATE RELEASE
California based Tekton Technologies announces Trip Photos - Tag, Search N Share for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Stop spending hours trying to organize your photo library! Trip Photos - Tag, Search N Share will completely revolutionize the way you use photos and videos. Trip Photos is designed to be an all-sufficient app for capturing, tagging, searching and sharing your photos and videos. Trip Photos takes it to the next level by adding customized capture options, Anti Shake and much more.
San Jose, California - Tekton Technologies (P) Ltd., is excited to announce the release of their brand new app - Trip Photos - Tag, Search N Share. For a limited time only, users can experience the power of this amazing app for half price. Trip Photos allows iPhone, iPad and iPod touch users to completely revolutionize the way they use photos and videos. Since the release of the iPhone, it has been widely acknowledged that the base functionality does not offer a great solution for easily organizing, tagging and searching for your media. It can be quite cumbersome to scroll through your Camera Roll looking for a particular photo or video to share with your friends. On the contrary, Trip Photos is designed to be an all-sufficient app for capturing, tagging, searching and sharing your photos and videos. Stop spending hours trying to organize your photo library.
Trip Photos offers a variety of ways to capture images. Users can access the camera function by clicking the camera icon which is conveniently located in the top right corner of the app. From here, users can select camera preferences such as front/rear facing lens and whether to add flash or not. Trip Photos takes it to the next level by adding customized capture options. The user is given the choice of taking their photo in one of four capture modes (Normal, Anti Shake, Timer or Burst). Anti Shake allows for the user to take highly detailed photos by ensuring movement of the camera is minimized. This allows for much crisper, sharper images.
Time mode allows for you to set a delay on how quick an image is taken. This is ideal for group photos, self portraits and more. This option provides more than enough time to setup your phone and get into the perfect pose! Perhaps the most entertaining option is Burst. This option allows users to take multiple photos by repeatedly pressing the camera icon. It is perfect for capturing multiple shots in a relatively short amount of time. Burst mode alleviates the wait time between each photo because the images are stored directly to your Trip Photos app - Not your Camera Roll. In addition, users also have the option to record video from within the app by simply toggling between video and image capture modes.
Taking photos and videos is only one function of this app. Trip Photos also offers the ability to tag each of your photos and add notes. This is useful when helping to store additional context around each item. One of the coolest and most useful features of the app is its impressive search capability. Users can search for photos and/or videos by location, notes, tags and date. This comes incredibly helpful when attempting to locate a particular photo or video you want to share with your friends. Are you having trouble remembering where a photo was taken, but you do happen to recall when it was taken? No problem! Open the in-app calendar and find your photo within seconds. Or perhaps you know where a photo was taken, but can't remember exactly when. Users can view a map which depicts where each and every photo/video has been captured.
With an app as powerful as Trip Photos, it is important to have the ability to protect your data. Trip Photos offers the ability to mark trips (or albums) as private. This ensures that the content is only viewable and accessible to the owner. On the other hand, Trip Photos offers great sharing options for users to distribute content as they desire. Trip Photos is integrated with Facebook and Picasa. Uploading content to either of these channels is a breeze since it happens in the background without interfering with current tasks.
And to top it all off, the app offers a highly accurate weather component. When users tap the top center of the screen from anywhere in the application, a dropdown screen appears which presents data based on location. This function is perfect for multitasking since users don't have to leave the app in order to see the time, temperature and weather forecast.
App Highlights:
* Capture, Store and Organize photos by trip
* Impressive search capabilities
* Image Stabilization
* Burst Mode allowing for quick consecutive shots
* Timed-Shot Mode
* Precise photo cropping
* Facebook and Picasa integration
* Lock photos in private Trips/albums
* Calendar view of photos and videos taken
* Map view of photos and videos taken
* Instant local weather dropdown without leaving the app
Device Requirements:
* iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad
* Requires iOS 4.3 or later
* 4.8 MB
