Pocket Snapper differentiates itself from other photo apps with its distinctive iModel mode, which enables users to capture images from the embedded short video clips of glamorous models. "This is an innovative idea. Pocket Snapper is one of the few apps that have taken full use of the gyroscope technology," commented Kevin Huang, Chief Designer of Kdan Mobile. "With this technology, the app creates a mobile studio that allows amateur photographers to practice and sharpen their photo-taking skills," continued Huang. The development team also described Pocket Snapper as a "full-fledged photo app", given the app is equipped with professional camera functions and different editing options such as adding frames, applying special effects, and arranging collages. These functions grant users great flexibility to show their creativity.
For those who love to share their masterpieces, Pocket Snapper has made it easier with support to Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and Picasa. Kdan also aims at bringing a cohesive work environment to its users. Pocket Snapper users could join Kdan's member community to share photos. Moreover, members could earn points by performing each function in the app. Additional embedded video clips with models will be unlocked once users accumulate certain points.
"Our ultimate goal is to provide a pleasant and enjoyable photo taking experience for both the amateurs and professionals," remarked Kenny Su, CEO of Kdan Mobile. Extremely easy to use, Dude, your car! offers guidance at every step. After selecting or shooting a photo, the user outlines the area to which they want to apply the damage. The app offers six categories of damages, with a variety of images to choose from in each category: Scratches (8), Broken Glass (12), Dents (30), Tire Boot/Clamp (45), Fire (12), and Custom (pre-existing photo). The large damage library makes it easy to select just the right effect to suit the photo and the vehicle.
Once the effect is applied, users can scale or move it to perfectly fit the vehicle. In step 4, users have an opportunity to adjust the superimposed damage image so that it blends realistically into the original photo. The app provides continuously variable control over contrast, brightness, rotation, transparency, and erasure. Once adjusted, the damage looks absolutely real, and even an expert would have difficulty spotting the image processing that has occurred.
Directions for use:
Step 1. Select/take a picture of the car you plan on using
Step 2. Draw an outline in an area where you wish to apply the damage
Step 3. Apply a damage type (e.g. dent, scratch, broken glass)
Step 4. Adjust the damage type by using the available tools
Step 5. Repeat steps 2-4 if you are applying more than one damage type
Step 6. Take a moment to enjoy the masterpiece you have created
Step 7. Save or email the picture
The last step in creating the photo, number 5, lets the user add additional damage, save their final photo, or share it via built-in email and Facebook connectivity. In addition to the damage types, users can now add firemen and fire trucks to their pictures to make the prank even more interesting. The Word Search game is based on the age-old format of finding words hidden in a grid of letters. Kids have to find the given words from the grid by simply swiping their fingers across, down, diagonally or reverse. The app interface is very kid-friendly and easy to use. This educational game for kids which will keep them engrossed for hours and sharpen their minds at the same time. The app has two different types of gameplay - for small kids (ages 5-8) and for big kids (ages 8-12).
Puzzles for small kids:
Here, every word is spoken aloud and depicted with a picture so that small kids master new words while playing the game. Over 280 words in sections like foodstuff, animals, birds, insects, transport, people, colors, numbers, etc. Thus small children will learn to speak the words, identify them from pictures and spellings, etc. Colorful pictures help to keep a small child's attention intact.
Puzzles for big kids:
Here, pictures and sounds are not there so that big children who already know their words can play faster. The levels and words are tougher. Over 780 words with additional sections including countries, beach, world capitals, musical instruments, farm, trees, Christmas, Halloween, days, months, Sports, etc.
