I'd like to see my whole list but it automatically truncated the last few callers. Amy way around this?

Yes but you may access only one set of contacts at a time.

And since the OP is trying to set up a new set of Contacts and Calendar that are shared, as opposed to the current set on the OP's phone that is not shared, that is one way to do it, if everyone sharing can access the shared set.

Actually, the OP did not say it had to be Apple's Contacts and Calendars, just that they want to share the content, without sharing the full content of their current Contacts and Calendars on their iPhones. To set up a shared account was one way that has been proposed. And that requires switching between accounts.

It's an option, personally, I'd rather just email the content to those who would be sharing and set up a new group within my Contacts and set up and publish a new Calendar.

But people seem to think that everything should be automatic now a days.

Yes, it should, BUT it doesn't always do that.

In fact, it just started to act as you suggest for me last week. I have had a mac.com account since 2002. An friend on another list, just moved his old mac.com POP account from MobileMe to iCloud and was forced into a IMAP account and is still not acting the way you suggest. He has been a mac.com user maybe longer than me.

$15 Refund

I recently heard that owners of the iPhone 4 could get a $15 refund from Apple if they didn't get a bumper. Is that true? If anyone has any info regarding this refund, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks,

Since you need details to apply for it, I suggest that you do a web search for the articles that came out this week. That way you get accurate details on how and where to apply.

Since it does not apply to me, I don't remember.

Because you told it to, probably by default.

With the iPad connected to your computer, go to iTunes. Under devices select your iPad. Select the tab "Apps". Just below the first block is a checkbox labeled "Automatically sync new apps" uncheck it.

As you can see, above that, you can select or deselect the apps you want to be on your iPad by checking or unchecking them.

Does iOS support Java?

Can Java run on an iPhone under iOS?

I do not wish to, but wish to prevent it from running Java if it can.

I know that JavaScript is different from Java, but while we are at it, can it run JavaScript and can it also be blocked?

Shellie,

Thanks for your very complete answer. I was able to get the book moved over one section at a time. I really appreciate your help. I still find it unfathomable that this problem cannot be resolved, I realize the problem lies mostly with Apple. If OverDrive was some little isolated app I could see Apple not paying any attend to the problem and letting you slide. That obviously is not the case though. Do you have any email address or phone number that I could contact Apple and voice my displeasure?

Thanks again... Bob
