Although it may seem inherently wrong to choose mouse control over touch control, it’s a killer tweak for writers who prefer to use an external Bluetooth keyboard. Sometimes I use a Bluetooth keyboard to type documents with Pages, and it always throws me off a bit when I have to reach out and touch the screen. That promotion was set to expire at the end of September, knocking previous MobileMe members back down to the standard free 5GB. The word on the street is that the carrier is about to cut its 30-day return policy in half. A new report is out today claiming that AT&T has sent out a memo to its employees reminding them that the return period for products and services drops down to 14 days tomorrow…(...) Unsurprisingly, Foxconn denies claims of strikes in iPhone 5 production line Posted: 06 Oct 2012 08:31 AM PDT We reported yesterday about a strike going on at Foxconn, the maker of the iPhone and virtually any electronics in the world. The report originated from advocacy group China Labor Watch, claimed that three to four thousand workers went on strike because of unreasonable demands from Foxconn asking its employees to work during the national holiday, but also because it raised the bar for quality standards without properly training its work force. Foxconn was however quick at denying the news when it sent a statement to Reuters, basically explaining that everything is good in this perfect and beautiful world…(...)
