2.: dock and speakers for touch

I am looking for suggestions to hook up external speakers for my ipod touch via the dock port. I don't want to use an external wire from the headphone jack; I prefer to have a cleaner looking connection.

Here is my problem. All docks will allow one to play from iTunes but I want to play audio from other apps like iHeart radio, Tunein radio and scanner 911 without the extra wire.

Is this possible?
