If the fone is jailbroken you will have to install from the comp it will not happen online thru software update

Hello all:

Perhaps this has been bantied about before, and I just missed it. I hope
someone can help.

About 4 months ago, I purchased an iPhone 4 (not 4S). I received a notice on
it telling me to install iOS6. I have tried 4 times, but each time the
iPhone tells me that the install failed. What am I doing wrong? Can this
even be installed on that phone? If it can¹t be installed, why is it telling
me to do it?

I just bought a Mac Mini with Lion,is it worth the trouble to up grade to Mountain Lion? what do I gain ?
