‘ColoredKnob’ Updated With a Host of New Colors

Posted: 05 Feb 2012 02:30 PM PST

ColoredKnob is a tweak that we covered in the past, and it was met with a fairly warm reception. We really liked it; in fact, the only thing holding us back from absolutely loving it was the limited amount of colors available in the initial release.

Posted: 05 Feb 2012 01:30 PM PST

iPhone and iPad apps have always been considered to be much more polished than Android apps by most users. Apple’s strict style guide and closed App Store create a similar feel among apps, while Google’s Android Market is open for all.

In a new report from crash report analytics company Crittercism, the company says that iOS apps crash more than Android apps, despite what you might think. In their report, Crittercism found that iOS apps tend to crash three times more than Android apps. But why?

AT&T Begins Throttling Unlimited Data Users Only After 2GB

Posted: 05 Feb 2012 01:10 PM PST

AT&T announced in October of 2011 that they would begin throttling data usage for users still on an Unlimited Data Plan. Original iPhone users are the only one who have kept their unlimited plans, while newer customers on AT&T have been stuck using tiered data plans, which were just restructured last month.

In October’s announcement, AT&T said they will only throttle the top 5% of data users. However, things didn’t seem to go that way for blogger John Cozen who only used 2GB of data before getting the notification. Cozen reached out to AT&T upset, who then responded..

Posted: 05 Feb 2012 12:50 PM PST

We already know that Siri, hot girls and Doritos don’t go well together. But do you know what happens when you tease Siri with Doritos? You might not want to know.

This video is one in a series of ads by Doritos that might air during the Super Bowl. I definitely liked the other ad better, but it’s still pretty funny.
