One of the biggest mysteries regarding Apple’s rumored TV set, other than whether it really exists or not, is how Apple plans to push content to the device. A major advantage of the television is expected to be its easy-to-use interface, and there’s only so much Apple could do with your everyday cable or dish connection. Neurotech Siri is an absolutely amazing looking theme for Siri, and really, the pictures and video don’t totally do it justice. This is a WinterBoard theme that features almost 300 frames of animation on the Siri logo, and you can tell from the fluidity and smoothness when invoking Siri. Last month, we told you about the danger of jailbreaking becoming a “legal violation” again this year. Two years ago, the US government ruled that the act of jailbreaking was legal. But that ruling could expire this year if it isn’t renewed. Leading the fight to keep jailbreaking legal is the EFF (Electronic Frontier Foundation). According to research firm NPD Group, Apple has passed up Samsung and LG to become the #1 selling US handset brand in the fourth quarter of 2011. Between the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S, the iPhone accounted for 43% of the US smartphone market, even though Android’s market share increased to 48%. Combined, iOS and Android devices accounted for over 90% of US sales, leaving Blackberry, Windows Phone and other mobile OSs under 10%. The NPD went on to say that 57% of first time US smartphone buyers go with an Android device, while only 34% of first time buyers purchased iPhones…(...) After all, Android manufacturers have been implementing the 4G technology in handsets and tablets for over a year now.
