ChronoSync can automatically mount another Mac using Apple File Sharing. But if you use the combination of ChronoSync with ChronoAgent when connecting two Macs, the connection is safer, faster, and more reliable than using Apple File Sharing. How can we make this claim? Simple. Apple File Sharing does not encrypt file transfers whereas ChronoAgent does encrypt files before copying them between Macs so file transfers are safer. ChronoSync must scan both Macs when using Apple File Sharing whereas ChronoAgent scans the destination Mac at the same time ChronoSync scans the source Mac so file transfers are faster. Another key feature of the app is the ability to import pictures from the camera roll to use as a background and make notes or drawings on the pictures. Notes can also be added at the side of the background image in portrait view or at the bottom in landscape orientation. The resulting image from the app is the width of the flipchart or portrait view and height of the whiteboard or landscape view. The image produced can be easily Emailed or saved to the iPad camera roll.

The user can easily access the hidden portion of the drawing canvas by scrolling with two fingers, dragging with one finger (after pressing the drag tool) or by FLIPing the iPad to the opposite orientation. iFLIPchart includes traditional pen tools for drawing, including the following: pen width, multiple colors, eraser, line, drag and undo/redo/clear.

This new feature works even when the app is not running using the same cutting-edge technology showcased by Apple in their new built-in Reminders app.

After purchasing the new Location Awareness module, users can choose to be notified when the app detects their arrival to or departure from a job, even if the app is not running. Alternatively, users can choose automatic clock in and/or out for full automation, with the ability to edit resulting time entries later. Enabling the auto-learning of job locations feature has the app set and refine each job's location whenever the user clocks in to that job. Manual control allows the user to set the location and radius with the map interface and built-in search. Additionally, users can choose to sort their job list by nearest first. This option helps keep the most important jobs at the top of the list, even if some of them are not set to provide notifications. The geofencing and low-power location services technology built into iOS 5 allows HoursTracker to do background location monitoring with virtually no drain on the battery.

With HoursTracker, users can keep track of time spent working at one or more jobs as an hourly employee, or hours billed to one or more clients as an independent contractor, consultant, or professional (attorney, accountant, etc.). The app can run start/stop timers, and also manually add time for any number of jobs. Calculating hours and earnings, the app can generate, display, and export reports by day, by week, by month, or by job. These are essentially custom reports. The app also offers reporting on the time by pay period. This allows the user to set up the pay period for the job (weekly, biweekly, semi-monthly, monthly), and then the app will calculate time worked and earnings according to those pay periods. Also calculated are rough net earnings using a configurable tax percentage to deduct from the earnings and a per-pay period deduction amount.

The form navigation menu provides easy navigation between forms within the web application. By default, this customizable menu contains all of the forms that have been created by FmPro Migrator Platinum Edition for the web application.

Through the creative use of SESSION variables, users are automatically kept on the correct record whenever they change operating modes or switch between forms using the same model within the web application.

Enhancements and bug fixes in this release include:
* Form and Record Navigation Toolbar - Some existing FileMaker Pro database files might not contain enough navigation features due to relying upon the status area of the desktop application. Enabling the navigation toolbar preference item triggers the creation of navigation toolbar code for each form of the web application. The navigation toolbar also provides mode switching between browse, edit, add and query tasks.

* Enhanced Edit Record Workflow - Editing a record in a toolbar enabled web application leaves the user on the edited record after updating the record. Without the toolbar, the user is redirected to the index form. This change in workflow makes it easier to navigate and edit between multiple records.

* Fixed PostgreSQL Issues - A data transfer issue was resolved when transferring data to non-BYTEA columns within PostgreSQL database servers. Additionally, the maximum length of PostgreSQL table/column names was increased from 31 to 63 to support higher the NAMEDATALEN constant used for PostgreSQL 7 versions.

* Fixed Issues Reading FileMaker Metadata - Issues were resolved when retrieving table metadata via ODBC on Windows and AppleScript on MacOS X. It is important to note that the best method for gathering metadata on all platforms is still via copying tables via the clipboard.

* Fixed pChart Issues - The default font-name was changed from "Verdana.ttf" to "verdana.ttf" in order to match the actual filename. pChart font names are case sensitive, unless the PHP web application is installed on MacOSX, which is generally configured as a case-insensitive UNIX file system. Also, chart objects were not being written into controller files if Data Access = "Read Only" was configured.

* Fixed strftime() PHP Error - strftime(%R) was changed to strftime(%X) in the conversion of the Current Time layout symbol to prevent PHP Invalid CRT parameter error on Windows. This is a known issue with PHP running on Windows systems, which does not occur on UNIX servers.

On launch, the app displays a dashboard, providing a clear summary of how many goals the user has, with a breakdown based on progress (Not Started Goals, In Progress Goals, and Completed Goals). This lets the user readily see how they are tracking. Touching any of these three categories brings up a summarized list of the goals in that category (the list can be sorted according to the user's preferences), and selecting a specific goal brings up the Goal window where goal information is presented in six modules: Goal, Attributes, Reasons, Motivators, Images, and Soundtrack.

Touching the Goal module opens an editable text field and the keyboard, allowing entry of a description of the Goal. In defining a Goal the app advises, "Be Specific" (avoid ambiguity), "Make it Measurable" (have a clear target), "Be Concise" (briefly stated Goals are easier to remember), "Use Positive Language" (phrase Goals as what to do, rather than what not to do), and "Be Realistic" (set challenging, but attainable Goals). The Goal module also contains the Play button for the Goal Visualizer function. Activating this function plays a powerful, personalized movie made up of text, photos, and music designed to help the user experience the motivations, behaviors, and benefits associated with their goal.

The Attributes module in Aspire Goals allows the user to assign the following attributes to his or her goal: Priority, Category, Deadline, and Progress. Priority may be set to High, Medium, Low, or None. Category can be set with a color-coded ribbon. Categories include Health, Fitness, Financial, Spiritual, Education, Relationships, Career, and Fun, and the user can add their own categories as well. Deadline can be dialed in using the Apple picker for any day and date or set to None. Progress can be tracked by Percentage, Target Value, or number of Steps completed. For Target Values, units of measurement can be specified, e.g., pounds, dollars, minutes. For Steps, a description of each step can be entered.

The Reasons module allows users to enter the compelling reasons they are undertaking their goal. Reasons can be added, deleted, and edited, and the app's Help function provides valuable advice in a section entitled, "Defining Your Reasons." The Motivators module permits the entry of Quotes, Affirmations, Beliefs, and Supporting Statements. Motivators help support Reasons by supplying inspiration. The Images module lets goal setters illustrate their aspiration using two types of images. Moving Towards pictures represent the outcome or result of what they are trying to achieve, while Moving Away images illustrate what they are trying to avoid (deliberately saved in grayscale, to contrast with the colorful, positive images saved previously). Finally, the Soundtrack module permits the user to select an appropriate song or piece of music to accompany the text and images viewed in the Goal Visualizer.

The Goal Visualizer is where the true power of Aspire Goals becomes apparent. The app automatically creates a personalized, motivational, audio-visual presentation incorporating all the information that has been entered. This sophisticated, psychological tool has been proven to help individuals achieve their goals faster and more often than simple, informal resolutions. Fun Greetings is a card printing program, where a users photos are the star. These kind of cards are often referred to as Photo Greetings Cards, and unlike store bought cards, the emphasis of these Photo Greetings Cards is photos of a users family, kids, pets and other photos they may have taken. Fun Greetings enables the user to print their own Photo Greetings Cards right at home on their Mac and printer.

Fun Greetings interface has been designed to keep the process of creating a Photo Greetings Card as simple as possible. It can be as simple as 3 steps, Step 1, choose a 1-Click Style. Step 2, choose a photo and Step 3, Print the card. While Fun Greetings was designed to be easy to use, Ohanaware have also included a getting started guide, printing tips and other help documents.

Fun Greetings' printing engine can compensate for printer margins (so there isn't a huge gap down one side of the card), and it can print to a variety of card sizes. The print engine even includes a custom card size option, allowing for other card sizes to be specified. The print engine, also contains a unique feature, whereby the user can enter the dimensions of a envelope, and Fun Greetings will calculate the optimum card size.
