How to unlock the iPhone 4S using the R-SIM interposer Posted: 05 Mar 2012 03:45 PM PST I’ll admit that I’ve never used a Gevey SIM interposer, or anything like it in the past, but I figured I’d give it a shot with the iPhone 4S. The iPhone 4S has its own special SIM interposer called the R-SIM II Ultra S, which was recently released. I’m happy to report that this is by far the easiest method for “unlocking” your iPhone 4S, and using it with T-Mobile or virtually any other GSM carrier. And guess what, no jailbreak is required. Check out our review of the iPhone 4S R-SIM tool inside…(...) "How to unlock the iPhone 4S using the R-SIM interposer" is an article by iDownloadBlog.com. |
Yet another claim the iPad 3 will be called iPad HD Posted: 05 Mar 2012 03:17 PM PST Citing a “reliable source”, VentureBeat reports that the rumored iPad 3 will actually called the iPad HD, which others have also indicated. Many believe Apple will pick iPad HD instead of iPad 3, because the next tablet out of the company will feature a ‘stunning’ Retina display. Apple’s next iPad is set to be announced at a media event March 7th, in San Francisco. As we showed you last week, the Retina display’s quality on the iPad looks great. Following up with the rumors, it would make sense for Apple to use the iPad HD moniker…(...) "Yet another claim the iPad 3 will be called iPad HD" is an article by iDownloadBlog.com. |
Senator asks FTC to investigate Apple over privacy concerns Posted: 05 Mar 2012 02:42 PM PST Apple has recently come under heavy fire over its privacy policies. Earlier this year it was discovered that third-party iOS apps could access a user’s address book without their consent. And recent reports that photo albums are subject to similar unauthorized access have added fuel to the flames. Now it looks likes folks are so worried about the problem, that they’ve asked the Federal Trade Commission to get involved. ArsTechnica is reporting that New York Senator Charles Schumer is urging the FTC to look into Apple’s widely-documented user privacy concerns…(...) Rumor: iPad 3 will indeed be LTE capable Posted: 05 Mar 2012 12:56 PM PST One of the big questions about Wednesday’s iPad 3 announcement isn’t really the Retina display, which now is almost a given, but rather if it will support LTE or not. Rumor: 7.85-inch iPad moving closer to production Posted: 05 Mar 2012 12:30 PM PST A new report from DigiTimes surfaced this morning claiming that the oft-rumored 7.85-inch iPad is moving closer to production.
