Made in Australia, the luxurious, vintage clock was inspired by the work of the 18th century clockmaker, John Harrison. The utility was recently featured in the What's Hot sections of the Russian and Australian App Stores.

Harrison (1693-1776) lived in London, and is credited as the inventor of the marine chronometer, which enabled calculation of longitude at sea. He developed several unique mechanical innovations that greatly improved the accuracy of pocket watches and chronometers, and is considered one of the founding fathers of horology. One of his chronometers was used by James Cook when he explored the new continent now know as Australia.

The 1.5 update includes UI refinements, better export, and stability and performance improvements. The iOS version is available from the App Store. The Mac update is available for free to existing customers, from either the Mac App Store or Fortunate Bear's online store.

Castro Valley, California - Fortunate Bear today announces Log Leech for iPhone and iPad, and an update to the Mac OS X version. Log Leech is a utility for viewing the console log in an organized and intuitive manner. The 1.5 update includes many UI refinements, better export support, and numerous stability and performance improvements.

Log Leech for iOS presents the console log in the same intuitive manner that its Mac sibling does. Log entries are group by the application that logged them, and can be sorted by name, the last time an entry was logged, and the total number of entries. This allows the user to quickly get to the log entry they care about. It is useful for discovering why an application crashed or otherwise failed. Alternatively, the log can be viewed in a strictly chronological order, with entries from different applications mixed.

The iOS version has feature parity with the Mac 1.5 version except in a couple places. Instead of providing an export option, the iOS version allows the user to email log entries. Additionally, the iOS version does not allow filtering by date or viewing the console log only. This is because iOS does not keep as many log entries around at one time, making those filter options unnecessary on iOS.

The 1.5 update for Mac OS X includes many UI refinements. Most feature options previously only available through the toolbar are now also available through the menu. Toolbar items have been renamed to be more obvious, and rearranged in a more logical manner. Additionally, a detailed log entry view has been introduced so the user can see multiline message properly formatted, as well as view the priority of that message.

Export has been dramatically improved for the 1.5 update. The chronological view now supports exporting all log messages. In addition the look and feel of the plain text and HTML export have received a lot of attention. The HTML export's appearance is very similar to the table view used inside Log Leech itself. With regard to with getting data out more easily, Log Leech now supports multiple selection in the detail view, allow the user to select multiple log entries and copy them all at once.

For the 1.5 release performance and stability have been improved. The entire codebase has been reviewed for memory management errors, and has also been run through static analysis. The refresh function specifically was optimized to be faster, in addition to being made asynchronous. This means the user can continue to work in the application while the log entries are being refreshed.

Richardson's responsibilities in the short-term include advancing the full functionality of the Map My Deals website, and rolling out a late-spring release of version 2.0 of the highly-rated app.

Houston, Texas - Chimaerix announced today the hire of David Richardson as its Chief Technology Officer. Best known for its daily deal aggregator iPhone app, Map My Deals, Chimaerix expects the appointment to lead to rapid development of its current and planned suite of retail shopping apps.

"We are extremely excited about this hire," stated Bevin Hartnett, CEO of Chimaerix. "I've been familiar with the work of David over the past 10 years, and after his limited role as a consultant in the initial version of the app, we worked hard to secure his full-time involvement with the company."

Richardson notes that, "While there are a lot of players in the daily deals market, I feel like we're ahead of the pack when it comes to putting the best deals directly into the hands of the users. Richardson's responsibilities in the short-term include advancing the full functionality of the Map My Deals website, and rolling out a late-spring release of version 2.0 of the highly-rated app. "A lot of the newest features of Map My Deals involve social network integration and authentication protocols that have never been done before in the iPhone environment," stated Hartnett. "David's creativity and determination in seeking out solutions to technological puzzles were key reasons for this strategic hire."

Prior to joining Chimaerix, Richardson was a member of Major League Soccer's Media Relations department. At MLS, Richardson spearheaded the development of the League's official website, leading to the formation of a League-wide site network.

David is a graduate of the Manship School of Mass Communication at Louisiana State University, and studied Mass Communication at the University of Georgia. He currently lives in Frenchtown, New Jersey.

The core game mechanic of Gobang Social was arrived at after much prototype play testing. The game's goal is to connect five bombs within a 12 x 12 matrix, whilst competing against Facebook friends. The game is easy to pick up but players can get really good at it using various strategies.

The company decided to take no risks with its first launch, rolling the game out gradually around the world whilst simultaneously making revisions based on feedback, such as the addition of in-game chat.

Version 1.2 was released in Asia and Australia last week and the launch went so well that the UK was added on Friday. Over the weekend Gobang Social was extensively downloaded and received much positive feedback from many quarters. So now there is no hindrance to everyone being able to play it as Gobang Social is available on every Apple App Store in the world. It has gone global.

London, United Kingdom - Big Ideas Digital are proud to announce today their smash hit iOS app, Say What You See: The Collection, has been downloaded over 1 million times from the app store on iPhone, iPod and iPad devices. The free-to-download app asks users to unravel the movie titles and pop star names that are hidden as rebus puzzles in a series of beautifully hand-painted scenes (called iCanvases). The Say What You See: The Collection team are celebrating with an explosive new iCanvas, the hi-octane 'Action Movies' and Retina resolution support for the new iPad device.

Since the opening of Apple's iOS App Store in 2008, over 700,000 apps have been uploaded. But only a small percentage have managed to break the magic 1m downloads milestone. Say What You See: The Collection, which was first released on 18th November 2010, has now hit that milestone, and British indie developers Big Ideas Digital couldn't be happier.

"We're really happy that Say What You See: The Collection has touched such a nerve with puzzle fans around the world" Says David Stevens, Big Ideas Digital MD. "We've hit a lot of milestones in the last year - #1 App in the download charts, a top 30 position in the 'Highest Grossing Games of 2011' chart, and had some fantastic celebrity endorsements from the likes of Harry Potter's Tom Felton (who tweeted that he was "... very much addicted to Say What You See") and Claire Richards from Steps. It just shows that if you make a great game, the audience will follow."

Asked about his proudest moment working on the app, David replied: "Definitely using the app to raise over $30,000 to help fund an operation to enable Grace Windram, a young girl with cerebral palsy, to walk for the first time. That's really been the pinnacle so far."

But the Say What You See: The Collection team aren't resting on their laurels. To celebrate the success, Big Ideas Digital are launching a new iCanvas, 'Action Movies', (which asks players to spot the 50 Action Movie titles hidden in an explosive piece of artwork) and a new update to the app, which adds high quality Retina support for new iPad owners.

The 'Action Movies' canvas is out 5th April, priced 99/69p, available as an in-app-purchase from the FREE Say What You See: The Collection app. The FREE 2.5 update will also be available on the 5th April.

Vienna-based indie game developer bobblebrook is proud to announce the release of their third iOS game "coign of vantage" today. Based on the company's same-titled hit Flash game, "coign of vantage" is a perspective puzzle game that becomes more of a "zen-exercise" (kotaku.com) as you play it: You're given a three-dimensional cloud of pixels which line up to form an icon from one and only one perspective. Your job is to rotate this cloud of pixels until the image emerges.

"We've completely re-done the game's visuals for the iOS version, and we think it turned out great.", said his partner Philipp Seifried, "We liked the minimalist design and meandering particle effects of the original, and we tried to preserve that. But the graphics power you get on an iPhone is so far beyond anything you could do in Flash at the time, that we couldn't resist giving the game a face-lift."

Madden and Allen had previously collaborated to create a volleyball entertainment company from 2007-2011 called The Kinda Good Plan. Tourists and natives of the Italian capital will now be able to navigate the city using nothing more than their iPhone or iPad.

Said Lead Developer Fabrizio Bartolomucci, "Rome currently operates hundreds of different bus routes which criss-cross the city serving more than 8000 bus stops. Services supplied by ATAC who manage the transit system are quite confusing - particularly to tourists. inArrivo 3.0 is designed to make the whole system easier to understand and use."

inArrivo not only provides information regarding the lines and timetables for each route direct from ATAC, but then uses GPS location to direct the user to the nearest bus stop even telling them on which side of the road they need to wait.

Users can now create custom travel plans, helping them plot a journey based on their current position and a desired destination; the app then calculates the best route between those two points. All information is drawn directly from the ATAC website, making live arrival and departure times for every bus available at the click of an icon.

Travellers can select any bus stop on a map of Rome to see incoming buses. A quick tap on the icons representing one of the buses gives an accurate indication of how long they have to wait for their particular bus to arrive. "People can now view live bus arrival and departure information about any bus, from any stop, without having to leave their home or refer to a printed timetable," explained Bartolomucci, "No more standing in the rain, or leaving home too early to wait for a bus - inArrivo saves time and effort."

Bus icons move between stops within the inArrivo and are accompanied by sound effects to provide audio notifications of progress along the route towards the user. Use of retina-quality graphics in version 3.0 also make reading information regarding bus and stops easier for the user.

inArrivo 3.0 is compatible with all devices running iOS 4.3 and higher. A live internet connection is required for the application to work and the correct behavior of the Atac web site is necessary for the timetable data to be downloaded although bus stops and route details are available even without. Free WiFi access is available in all McDonalds restaurants for foreign visitors.
