new Facebook upgrade?

I have not upgraded either my computer or iTunes since I have seen all the problems. My question is with the Facebook App. It upgraded the other day and now it seems to be the one for My iPad app instead of what I am used to. I got rid of it and downloaded it again and it's still the same thing. I have no idea how to get the old one back. I don't do much on FB besides the notifications and then the news feed but now it's a nightmare to find notifications! Any ideas? I have a Mac with Lion and an IPhone 4. I have both Facebook and MyIpad apps on the phone and computer but it seemed to merge into one! I hate the new one!

Already using password wallet to keep track of the usernames and
passwords. I liked it before when I'd punch in my apple ID password
and all the devices were right there.

I don't know about iOS 5 compatibility, but it is no longer in the iTunes App Store.
I also have Wi-fi Finder and WifiGet Scan on my iPhone.
