I have tried over and over and I have the package on my desktop. I am running a XP-sp3 I get so far in the unpacking and it says: "problem with windows installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. contact support personnel or package vendor." I sure would appreciate any help on this. I am not much with computers. I really need directions in easy understanding for me. (Senior Citizen!!!!) I have updated iTunes right along and had no problem. Thanks for any help.

The easiest suggestion appears to be trying to download the update via use
of a different browser, do you have a different browser you can use?

You could try a quick download and install of Safari and then download
Itunes.

don't believe I was able to do this with your help!.

If you swipe down from the top (very top) you get a screen with
notifications from ALL of the functions you have indicated you want to be
part of your NOTIFICATIONS

Switching Phones Between Users
Posted by: "Shellie Turcanik" katydid2590@gmail.com katydid2590

Hi Everyone,
I got my new 4s today and can't wait to get it all switched over. I can't
remember for the life of me what I did the last time I upgraded and was
wondering if someone could refresh my memory. I am going to give my 4 to my
husband who has a 3Gs right now. I know I need to backup my 4 which is
already upgraded to my Mac which is running the updated Lion, but then what
should I do to clean it off for him? Should I take the sim out of his 3Gs
and have it in the 4 before I restore it for his use? I will back up his
phone too so that I can just put his data on the 4 after I take my stuff
off. This is all so confusing! I purchased the 4s on his eligible upgrade
but it's really for me. Do I need to go into the AT&T store and have them
activate the sim in the 4 that I am giving him with his number or will it
just work if we take the sim out of his 3gs? Please excuse my ignorance but
I thought if there was some way that I could do all this myself instead of
getting AT&T involved that would be nice. Last time I just went in there and
had them switch everything over.
Thanks so much,
Shellie

Verizon or AT&T or?...that is the question

Hey all you experienced iPhone users...I'm finally getting the bug to upgrade to a good smartphone and pretty much want to get a 4S but can't figure out which carrier to go with. Can I get some input from you guys as to which one is best, or maybe the good and bad skinny of each? Thanks in advance.

The best carrier depends on where you are. You would be better of asking
around among your friends. Ask them about dead spots and dropped calls. Make
sure the carrier you select will work where you are the most.
