I have the LEXMARK app but the only way that I am able to print wirelessly print is; make a screenshot(press home button at the same time as pressing the off button on right top) then use the LEXMARK app to print from my camera roll.

I have a wifi printer (HP Officejet Pro 8500A) but when I try to print from my ipad it says no air print printers found. I checked the App store and HP has something for iphone but not for ipad.
Am I missing something? Do I need to download something from Apple to link to my printer?
Thanks, would love to be able to do it.

I just installed AirPrintActivator on a Mac connected to an HP printer. It makes the printer appear as an AirPrint printer on the network.

If 1000 people have a product, and 10 have a problem, you will find a forum displays 9 complaints, and 1 "I'm OK" message.

This is completely irrelevant with regard to the 4S, because it comes with 5.0

I have seen exactly zero reports of significant problems with wireless 5.0.1 upgrades.
In fact, the ONLY problems I've heard of were server overload from everyone trying to do it at the same time.

I just read (in Dutch)

So let's keep hoping. :-)

Speed with New 4S

Was wondering, With the new 4S and iOS 5.0.1 I'm getting speeds as follows testing with Speedtest.net
3G
Ping .75MS to 129MS
Download 3 to 6 Mbps depending on time of day
Upload 1 to 1.5 Mbps

These speeds are, of course much better that my old GS but was wondering how those numbers compared with other folks. Oh, AT&T is my provider.

AT&T, NE Atlanta, just now
3G
Ping 78ms
Download 7.12 Mbps
Upload 1.14 Mbps

AT&T, Downtown Atlanta, various tests
3G
Ping 84 - 132ms
Download .02 - 4.94 Mbps
Upload .00 - 1.18 Mbps

Downtown, speeds tend to keep in the very low end for me.

I know this is an iPhone group but I have a question. We went from basic
Nextels to Blackberry Torch's at work. I was looking forward to getting
my email off a work phone instead of using my personal iPhone 4 but find
I still use the iPhone. Why are Blackberries so popular in the corporate
world? They seem to lack some basic email functions such as selecting
unread email for deletion. I have to open, delete, repeat which takes
forever!

Later,

I use both, a blackberry and an iphone for my job. I love and prefer the iPhone but, I think the blackberry has a lot more email functions than my iPhone. For example, there are built-in shortcut keys that help you navigate email such as jumping to unread emails (the letter u), searching for emails with attachments only, searching for flagged emails, to name a few, you can also customize your searches and save them as short cut keys. I love my iphone but I find the blackberry has more email functions and does email pretty well. You can also Delete Prior, to delete emails from a certain date, you can also delete emails in batches, by using the Alt and Select keys, etc. I love the way the iphone displays the email folder hierarchy, the easiness of using it, the intuitiveness of it all. Just my humble opinion.

There's no little lock symbol in the upper right?

If not, I would suggest locking it, then unlocking it.

So I am looking at buying an ipad and the air printing just seals the deal for me. But when I look at the apple site my HP printer isn't listed, but is there a way to add my printer since it does have wireless built in? Or is there something I can "plug-in" to my current printer to make it compatible?

Thanks for the help
